Bamboobies Breastfeeding Shawl - Nursing Cover for Breastfeeding - Ultra-soft

I reviewed both my nursing shawl and the nursing pads almost 2 months ago. Love both products! The shawl is very cute and I am planning on wearing it over my dress to my cousin's wedding. Classy but functional! The nursing pads are very cute, soft and they work better than the disposable ones. I am amazed at how well the absorb moisture and keep my clothes dry being that they are so thin. Thank you, Bamboobies!

Bought for sister in law as she is a first time mother. She loves it! Can wear for breast feeding purposes or fashion in general. Very soft and color is very nice

I really wanted to like this nursing cover. I love other bamboobies products, but this one didn't quite work out for me. The fabric is soft, beautiful, and folds up compactly. My only problem with this cover is the length on the shorter side is too short for me. (It is a symmetric while you wear it.) I am sure this is perfectly adequate for most people, but it actually covers me less than the cover I am replacing. I am 5'7", a size 4 and have a small chest, and it doesn't even come down to my elbow. If I am wearing a shirt that I have to pull upwards for nursing (as opposed to a button-up shirt or nursing top), then from my pants all the way to my elbow is exposed skin on the non-nursing side. It gets hot in the summer where I live, so wearing extra layers to make sure I am completely covered up while nursing isn't ideal. You can even see in the picture of the model (who must be shorter than I am) that her shirt is peeking through. This just won't work for what I am needing, but otherwise it is a great cover. If only it was a few inches longer, it would be perfect.

Wonderful colors and fabric. I've gotten compliments that it looks like a regular shirt. Very fashionable and comfortable! Light weight so good for hot days! I don't mind nursing with out a cover if I have to but this makes it very comfortable in public. Unlike blankets, you don't have to worry about this falling off your should or getting in babies face. No complaints, worth every penny!

I originally had bought a backless nursing cover, but just after one use, I quickly realized how annoying and frustrating it was to keep it in place. Then I found this shawl - not only does it stay in place, but it's stylish too! NOTE: i did not use it while breastfeeding, only for pumping, so trying to make sure I can keep an eye on baby while feeding wasn't a concern for me. BUT I do think the neck area is wide enough to where it wouldn't a be a problem.

It surprises me that this is SPF50 because it feels so thin. It does get a little warm when nursing under it, but I feel like most of them do. I like that it isn’t as tight as most nursing covers. I can easily peek to see my baby while staying covered. I love that it will protect my baby from the sun if I put it over her car seat

I don’t know why people like this. I guess I haven’t tried a lot of nursing covers (I typically don’t need to use one) but this is ugly, IMO. I don’t get the weird ruffle thing and it’s a thin material with a cheap color (purple). Maybe it’s cooler due to the light material but anytime I have had to use it I still sweat. Perhaps it’s fine for what it is, I usually use a dressing room or ask for a space to nurse or just do it where ever and turn my back. I find using a cover a cumbersome step when my baby is fussy and hungry.

This shawl is amazing. I love nursing my little one but I'm not as comfortable as some moms to just nurse in the open. I tried using blankets or other fabrics but they would fall or they were too hot. I finally caved and bought this product and I have no regrets. It is making this new moms experience a great one. P
