3M Medium 7500 Series Half Face Air Purifying Respirator

It's a crazy difference that having a proper mask makes. I'm using this for gunpla and lacquer paint, and I can't smell anything through the n95 filters. The mask itself though is extremely comfortable and definitely feels more "premium" or heavy duty than the regular ones. I don't have that lingering smell of lacquer in my nose at all after using this. I should have bought it sooner

Great airflow worth the money

I've been using this model for several years now (after trying & discarding respirators by at least 4 other companies) Its never a joy to wear a respirator all day, but the silicone of these masks is the LEAST irritating material of any mask i have ever used. It is also easy to clean, & light weight, with no rubber smell. I've given these as gifts to several friends who have been grateful for the upgrade! I use mine for welding, grinding & painting with the "3M 2097 P100" (Particulate Filter with Organic Vapor Relief). It fits easily under a welding mask, & for the price, the filters last longer than filters of any other company i have tried. If you're doing any work that makes your snot weird colors, PLEASE use one of these. In the short term, your sinuses with thank you & you'll probably add 20 years to your life.

This is the one you want. The silicone face piece is light years better and more comfortable than the rubber model you get at the box stores. I wear mine for hours at a time and it is never the least bit uncomfortable. Because the silicone is so soft and pliable, you don't have to cinch the straps like you're holding a saddle to your face. The soft silicone allows for a great seal with minimal strap pressure. I forget I'm wearing mine, and if you wear a respirator regularly, that will probably sound like crazy talk. But it's true. I paid about twice this price for my first one when I bought it at the industrial supply store that sounds like Ranger. Even at that price it was work every penny. After three years the halo head piece broke in half and the straps had just about given up the ghost. I came here to Amazon looking for the head harness and found the whole respirator for $25. Well, that's a no-brainer.

The small facepiece fits my average-sized lady face nicely. The medium was too big. I can't say that breathing through this mask is as easy as breathing without a mask, but it sure is easier than other masks I've tried! The intake and exhaust both work well, although one of the intake valves popped off with first use (appears to be a design flaw). It was easy enough to pop back in. It's easy to make the mask fit comfortably, too. Note to folks with MCS/EI: the mask starts out with a very strong chemical odor. It will need to outgas before you use it. I substracted 1 star for the intake valve popping off and for that strong chemical odor. The mask is supposed to be protecting people from chemicals rather than forcing us to inhale them. Those without chemical sensitivities may not be sickened by the chemicals that outgas from the new mask, but that will vary between individuals.

I purchased this respirator for any number of shop related uses where respiratory PPE is required, such as sanding and grinding various materials. So far I have only used this while sanding drywall mud in a closely confined bathroom. I am very satisfied with this respirator. Being a glasses wearing asthmatic I must always use a respirator whenever dust is kicked up but having glasses poses some problems that this respirator solves. The fit on this is perfect for my average round face. I have no issue with sealing and i can feel the mask suck in if I pull a hard quick breath. It is important to note that 3M uses a more comprehensive fitting procedure than mine. If you were using this mask with more hazardous materials like asbestos I would suggest following through with those procedures. Upon exhale the mask discharges straight down, out the bottom. This is the greatest thing if you wear glasses, your lenses do not fog up! I cannot believe how big of a difference this makes when working up a sweat or in a colder environment.. 5 Stars on this feature alone. The rubber around the mask and the strap that goes over the neck and head are barely noticeable after a few minutes of work. I imagine I could probably wear this for 8 hours without too much discomfort. On a side note I am using the P100 round pink filters for dust. So much better than N95 paper masks. I can definitely feel a difference in my lungs. But that is for a seperate review.

I needed something to protect my respiratory system while working in my shop. Read the other reviews on this product. Overall this mask is very comfortable, fits well and allows me to wear it for extended periods. Easy to clean. Filters attach easy. I would buy another if I ever need one but this should last for years with proper care and cleaning

The masks are original, in addition to that the seller gave me a pair of gloves, a mask and other things for free, I will surely buy again.
