worth the wait
Love the color. smooth to knit. has super stitch definition. soft as heck. nice nearly bulky worsted weight. takes nearly a month to arrive but it is so satisfying to work with. I almost hesitate because i dont really want to share it with anyone (haha)/ nice gift and note every time i order it. one delivery got lost (i've ordered many times now) and there was no trouble getting replaced. Super vendor, superior product.

Hard working yak, merino wool, synthetic yarn.
I am knitting a Scandinavian sweater top-down with 4 colors. This is not as soft as alpaca but it knits up very nicely and will be a hard working, warm, sweater. I look forward to wearing this next winter because I despise being cold. Additionally, I received a pair of house slipper/socks as a gift with my purchase. Unfortunately, my feet are too big for them, but I gave them to friend. This made her happy and me too! Thank you!

Nice texture.
Very soft and feels good next to the skin. The only draw back is I don't know where it was made.

Lovely Yarn But...
This is lovely yarn, soft, easy to knit and very warm. But be aware...each skein is supposed to 100 grams, but in my experience of ordering yarn from this company over the last two year, the skeins are not 100 grams, mostly less. My group began weighing the skeins as they came in and we found the weight is anywhere from 87 to 98 grams. In the last order, we ordered and paid for 9 skeins, but received only 6. None of the six skeins weighed 100 grams, much less... Company seems to be balking at providing replacements.

Gorgeous
This is a very beautiful easy to work yarn. Soft and spongy. I love it so much I returned and purchase many more skeins , and have started knitting my Christmas presents. Be aware it is super warm. Not for warmer climates. Perfect for Michigan. And a nice price for Yak and merino

Ok, I just got the wool and I am very grateful for the people who rushed the order, since I had complained about the amount of time it took to get the wool. It just arrived today, earlier than the date that was given to me before. The wool is very nice, good quality and the color is beautiful. So thank you Yak Woo Yarn!

Nice but not cashmere
It isn't too bad. At first I thought it was a little rough, but when I started working with it, it felt softer. But it definitely isn't cashmere. Maybe from the yak, but apparently yaks aren't that soft. : \ That's okay though, I wanted a wool more then anything and it was a pretty color and a good price.
