I bought this item as this was cheaper than other colour versions. The belray or any other cordless vacum will not perform as well as a heavy mains powered unit. They are not built the same. I am pleased with what I have bought though. For a quick and easy vacum session plus getting into tight corners etc it is a great vac. I like the detachable battery pack and a replacement is quite cheap to buy. The battery usage is quite good on normal but can run down quick on full power. Hoovered the house twice before charging. It is easy to clean and you get a spare filter so you can wash one and put a clean filter in . I have no negatives with this item as it does what it should do for a lightweight cordless. For thick heavy carpets then a mains unit is better.

This is ideal for "whipping out" 😆 if you know what I mean . My Dyson is a real pain in the ass to unwind and plug in as it's cabled and not battery, this is great for a quick run over the carpets and laminate flooring, it has decent pick up and handy for the car too, don't expect it to suck like a Dyson, more like your Duff ex.. all kidding aside, it's really handy and very light. If you've a bigger need by way of a lot of floor area/heavy carpets, I would suggest you buy a higher end one but this is more than sufficient to run over 5 laminate floors, 2 tiled bathrooms, carpeted hall and landings in my place. I use it as a back up with the Dyson taking precedence for the hardcore stuff... Plus points: 1. Light 2. Easy to manoeuvre. 3. Washable filter. 4. Relatively inexpensive. 5. Used for 15 mins solid and plenty life left in battery. 6. Ideal as a back up and for car. Neg: 1. Not as powerful as a plug in or high end battery hoover. 2. Within reason, limited battery range. 3. Too easy to inadvertently pull trigger when lifting the machine up..not a big deal though, just as easy to switch off, but thought it was worth mentioning. Very happy for what it does..

Love this hoover. Lightweight, good suction and value for money. Personally prefer it to my partners Dyson.

Ideal for seniors. Easy to handle picks up well enough and easy to store. Once charged battery lasts a long time. Being a two in one the head is good for stairs and not heavy to hanle

I owned a cordless a few years ago so knew what I should expect however moved from cordless to a corded with a multi purpose use having pets but a few years later it's quite heavy so looked for cordless again for in between cleans with the corded. Bought for use with dog hair on all laminate floors and staircase. Compared to my cordless vax years ago this is very lackluster, poor suction. On the few pieces of carpet I have it won't lift hair or bits of fluff. For the price I'm disappointed, thought I might use it for car as well but will stick with the corded as pretty sure it won't lift much. 5 years ago my cordless vax would lift carpet pile and plenty suction for corners. Have used daily for a few weeks now and ok for lifting light pet hair from laminate so will be OK for now but I'll probably get another soon, if your looking to buy as your main use hoover I'd give this a miss, it comes with an extra filter and I haven't ran out of battery power yet however would trade that for decent suction, yes its battery and suction can't compare to wired however even 5 years ago my cordless was way ahead of this.

Updated version of Belfray cordless vacuum previously purchased, promptly delivered. Lightweight and quick to use around the house, good value for money. Suction is generally good but weakens as power declines

This is my second one after 9years of use with the other one. I love it and it is so easy and light to use.
