We moved into an incredibly dusty townhouse, I have terrible allergies, and we discovered our neighbors are chain smokers. We now have 3 Levoit air purifiers in our home: Vital 100 (non-smart version), Core Mini and Vital 200S. I initially bought the Vital 100 and put it in our bedroom because I have terrible allergies. It collected a ton of dust and helped a lot with the allergies. I thought I didn't need the smart version but in hindsight the availability of specialty filters and the remote control would be very helpful. It's relatively quiet although on high it's too noisy for me to sleep with. I absolutely love that you can turn the all the control lights off. We tried using this for the cigarette smell but it wasn't very effective except when the smell was very light. It did completely abolish cooking smells though. If I could go back in time I would have ordered the 100S instead but this one works fine. The smoke smell from the neighbors comes into our house through the laundry room which is a very small room. I bought the Core Mini to try to combat it. The Core Mini doesn't really do much to get rid of smells and was definitely overwhelmed by the smoke so now we move it around the house now when the pollen level is high. It works ok for dust and allergens but the range isn't great; you need to be right next to it to notice a difference. On low and medium speed it's barely audible and high is relatively quiet but overall the fan isn't very powerful. The lights on this one automatically turn off after a few seconds making it bedroom friendly. If I could do it again, I would have skipped this one and bought one of the larger ones sooner. Lastly, in an attempt to mitigate the smoke coming from next door, we got the big boi Vital 200S with the add on smoke specialty filter. So far it isn't able to remove the smell while they're smoking but it does cut down the severity and will clear it eventually provided the source stops for long enough. It's amazingly quiet on the lower speeds. It's pretty loud on the higher speeds but the fan moves a ton of air around. I'm disappointed that the auto mode doesn't detect the smoke smell but I can use the app to turn it to high speed as soon as I smell it. You don't have to use the app but it's really easy to set up and connect. The app allows you to set schedules which is really handy and as I touched on earlier, it works as a remote control. As with the others, you're able to turn the lights off completely so it's good for bedrooms. We've only had this running a few days but I'm pretty impressed with what it can do.

Ok I have been wanting to get an air Purifier for a few years now I’ve looked at all different kinds wanted to get one that I could wash and clean and not have to change the filter and spend an extra 30 bucks but from all the reviews and research I guess the technology isn’t really there yet. So I decided on this 1 and it’s a difficult choice to make because there are so many different purifiers out there. I liked the price of the particular model it had everything I wanted in a good price range but the reason I chose this particular model was when I was looking at it and you would scroll down the filters we’re on the same page a lot sellers do not do this in a lot of the other companies haven’t even made filters for them yet because there’s so many new companies making these things so being able to see the filters on the same page about having to do more research was probably the main reason I wanted this particular model. I’ve been running it for the last four days on medium within the first few hours I could breathe better. It’s really changed a lot and how my house is and how much less dust there is. I have already ordered a second one for the bedroom Because when I sleep on the couch I wake up feeling better need that feeling in the bedroom I am sure there are plenty are the models out there that work just as good and or the same but I really like this one I’m glad that I purchased it I hope this helps you in your decision making 👍🏻 No when it comes to the noise yes it makes noise on the highest setting but medium and low barely make any noise very quiet smooth running Sincerely Happy customer

Spoiler: So many of these air filters are the same. They are just a box with a fan in it that sucks room air over a filter. Unless you get something very expensive that does something different, they are all the same. So I needed to replace two super old Sears, yes Sears Kenmore, HEPA filters we used in our bedroom and elsewhere in the house. They are still going but one has a little bit of a wobbly fan after 20+ years so its relegated to cat litter duty until it quits. Or I take it apart and see what I can do to tune it up. Bought one of these units. Its basically the same thing. An airtight box with a fan that draws room air across a filter and exhausts the "scrubbed" air. Lets get to it: I liked this filter enough to buy this, a second one. ALL of these are noisy on high. So what? Run it on high for awhile while youre not in the room then turn it down lower if the sound is bothersome when you are in there. These appear to be built well. Have nice features like a dimmable touch pad so you can use it in a dark bedroom. Magnetic front panel top get at the filter and pre filter. Nice surface area of a nice large filter. A great feature is the washable pre filter. Wash that thing out every week or five and you'll be in good shape! Especially if you have pets. The key with these, and I'm not an engineer, seems to be how they draw air in and how they exhaust the filtered air. If those vents are too close, then it creates a "short circuit" of pulling in a loop of the same air. This filter pulls from the sides and exhausts out the top. Nicely done designers! It's fairly boxy Like 12" x 15" but its fairly thin like 6". You should be able to fit it in most rooms. We ran the first one we bought on high in our bedroom upon getting up in the morning, making the bed, getting dressed. All the stuff that stirs things up. Then we leave it on medium the rest of the day and low at night. You do feel the difference in the air. Havent had pollen season yet but from the previous 20 years of using the different units I had, I just know this will do well, better even because the filter is a bigger surface area than my old ones. Sometimes we use it on high and set the timer. Nice units. Will update my 5 stars if some sort of reliability issue pops up through using it. Dont get too bogged down in the details of other ones. There is no real magic. These are just boxes that pull air in, filter it, send it back out again, and offer some features like speeds, timers, etc. This is a good version of these air cleaning boxes and well worth your consideration.

I've made a complaint to amazon supoprt. If you haven't noticed it like my this product is not European, its American and 110 volts. No idea why they are listing it on European site without sufficient warning. Better tittle might be Levoit Vital 100 Air Purifiers (110 volt US)

Lo he usado en un área un poco mayor a lo que está diseñado y funciona muy bien, el olor de 2 perros y cigarro casi desaparece usandolo en promedio 2 horas por la noche con ventanas cerradas en la mínima potencia la cual es muy silenciosa, a máxima potencia el ruido es parecido a un ventilador de techo, pero no he tenido la necesidad de usarlo así, al colocarlo donde está la mayor actividad incluso las recamaras se siente el aire más fresco, ya que no deja que se extienda el olor a cigarro o a mascota.

Tiene apenas 6 meses de uso y no prende, me gustaría contactar al vendedor pero Amazon no da la opción.

Quiet, and moves air well. The air is noticeably less dusty, and it handled forest fire smoke well too.

***Edit - Have upgraded to 4 stars as the third unit has been working very well with the power adapter.*** I haven’t tried sleep mode on this, and it’s a pretty noisy machine compared to another filter that I have of around the same size. I am on my 3rd machine now as the first two suddenly started smelling like they were burning and stopped working. I was a little surprised when it arrived with an American plug, but it came with a converter so I thought nothing of it. Later, when the replacement unit had gone the way of the first in only 2 days of light use, I read the specifications and saw that it’s not made to work on the UK 240v circuit. It’s only rated for 110v, so no wonder they kept burning out, I’m only glad they didn’t start a fire! Thankfully the seller was very god and even sent me a power converter - 240v to 110v - to get the unit working. But please be aware if you buy this unit that it’s not safe for use in the Uk with just a plug adapter. So 3 stars and a warning. But I’ll try the new unit with the converter and hopefully can say lovely things about it, it did seem to work nicely the first time before it burned out. I bought it to keep me safer from catching covid at home or in the office with my 2 coworkers.
