Great product
Amazing product, if you are ok with the clicking then this is great mouse, the weight you can balance how heavy or light you like to be your mouse. For me I’ll prefer little more heave but this works well for now.

Not just for gaming
In terms of aesthetics, build and use for gaming, it goes without saying this is part of the highest tier of mice you can get. That being said, I'm not a gamer and most of my use is for my work as a Graphic Designer. And one thing that surprised me is how precisely I can make slight movements with the mouse to make very accurate and precise movements. Extremely useful for my work and highly appreciated. The ability to set macros on 9 extra different mouse buttons is also extremely useful and I'm still thinking about how I can make the best use of these buttons in every application that I use everyday. In terms of ergonomics, considering that it's not the main selling point of this mouse by any means, I found it difficult to find a mouse that fits well in my hand (larger than average in size) and this just feels very comfortable to use.

NOT for large hands, but nice mouse
Purchased this since it was touted all over the web as a great wired mouse, and a bigger mouse, so "may be uncomfortable for people with small hands." As someone who has large hands, I was hopeful I finally found a mouse that was: A) Wired, B) a good size for large hands, C) good build quality. Sadly, this only hits 2 out of 3. While the wired works well and the build quality seems nice, the mouse is laughably small! After 10 min of use, my hand, wrist, and forearm were starting to cramp trying to find a comfortable way to use this thing. I'm looking for a wired mouse to replace my MX Master 2 with, and this G502 is even smaller than the MX series. If you have larger hands, this may not be the mouse for you.

I picked up the Logitech G502 HERO for £38, which is a bit on the higher side for a wired mouse, but I tend to stick with Logitech as their mice have been consistently reliable for me over the years. Build quality is very good. The mouse feels solid in the hand, with a reassuring weight even before adding the adjustable weights. Nothing creaks, the buttons have a positive click, and overall it feels like a durable piece of hardware rather than something disposable. The shape is comfortable for longer sessions, especially if you prefer a more substantial mouse. The HERO sensor is excellent. Tracking is precise and consistent, and it performs exactly as expected whether for general desktop use or gaming. DPI adjustments are easy to access, and the on-board memory is useful if you move between machines and don’t want to rely on software every time. Functionality is where the G502 really stands out. The programmable buttons are genuinely useful rather than excessive, and the adjustable weight system lets you fine-tune the feel to your preference. Scroll wheel options, including the free-spin mode, are a nice touch and something I’ve come to expect from Logitech at this level. RGB lighting is present but subtle and easy to ignore or disable if you’re not interested. Logitech’s software is straightforward enough for setting profiles and button mappings, and once configured, you don’t need to think about it again. Overall, while £38 isn’t cheap for a wired mouse, the G502 HERO still represents good value given the build quality, sensor performance, and long-term reliability. If you already like Logitech mice and want something solid, accurate, and well proven, this remains a safe choice.
