This Mini USB Microphone is a fantastic!
This Mini USB Microphone is a fantastic find for anyone needing clear audio on the go or at their desk! The plug-and-play setup is incredibly convenient, working seamlessly with both PC and Mac without any fuss. The gooseneck design is a real plus, allowing for perfect positioning, and the sound quality is surprisingly crisp and clear. It's truly ideal for remote work, online classes, or even casual calls. Highly recommended for its ease of use and excellent performance!

Barely Good Enough. Depends.
As a novelist, I find myself partaking in random podcast interviews. Usually I use my phone for these, which works out well. However, after a recent caster needed me to use the comp, I watched the broadcast later to find my audio sounding horrendous. I needed a mic for our next outing. So I bought this. And while I'll never say it's professional quality, it fixed my problem well enough. Moreover, I've also found that, in dictating chapters to Word, the comp seems to understand me better. So I guess I'm giving credit to the microphone. Good enough for small stuff, but I'd never recommend this for anything uber professional. Best, A.

Above expectations
This little, inexpensive mic works great for Zoom music jams and workshops. My my usage, it's better than my Blue Yeti.

Perfect for Nvidia Shield
I'm using it with my Nvidia Shield TV for voice access, and it's been working great across the living room, about 4 meters away without the need to shout.

Did not work as well as I had hoped
I have a laptop from a few years ago whose internal microphone refuses to work with Linux (it's probably a sound codec that doesn't have a fully-functioning driver, or something is missing in my kernel config, or an ACPI bug... who knows). So I got this USB microphone to carry with it for any time I need it for something like an online meeting. Unfortunately it doesn't work nearly as well as I wanted it to. The audio quality is fine, although I haven't done any very extensive testing. But the mechanical design has a few issues. The worst part is that the gooseneck simply isn't stiff enough to be very useful. You can't bend it to a sharp angle and have it stay put, so the end will just fall halfway back to the ground. It might work with a hub that has a vertical-facing port, but I need something more portable and minimalist. The "dongle" piece is also fairly long to hold the USB electronics, so it will flop around and feel lie the port is going to snap off if I pick the laptop up to move it around. It needs a much stiffer gooseneck and some kind of swivel joint at the base that can be tilted up 90° to do most of the positioning work, then it would be almost perfect.
