Q: I bought a battery and filled it with distilled water then charged it, can I still add the acid or do I pour out the water?

If the battery only has distilled water in it , dump it out and start over. You may have trashed the battery by charging it with only water in it.

Q: One description states 20 ounce bottles and another states 34 ounces per bottle can you tell which one is correct ?

Most likely there are both volumes offered, dependent to the application.
