I have tried several boxes to keep my home paperwork in order. This box is great, it sturdy and big enough for most things. I tend only to keep the important things. Most things I scan and store digitially. So this box is perfect for everything for me. It looks great to so it looks good on a shelf.

I am so very pleased with these file boxes. While they are not huge they are just right for several hanging files. (Just depends how much you fill each file.) The outer linen fabric lends a classy look, as does the leather handle. Other reviewers mentioned that the lid is bigger than the box-that it is a bit too big. It kind of is yet not enough to bother me at all. In reviewing other brands of similar boxes, I read complaints of the top not fitting once the box was assembled and filled. That would be so much worse. I love that they came already assembled and ready to use. I will be purchasing more of these.

I actually purchased these for 'unconventional' storage. I have a pretty big gap between my mattress and the wall. After literal hours of searching, I finally found these. They are the PERFECT size and I could not be happier! The only bad news is, I may have to purchase a 4th 🤷‍♀️ Since I share my bed with my cats, these allow for a little extra foot room 😹 I really didn't want to spend that much, but they are exactly what I was looking for. I have NO regrets! I would give more stars if I could!

Handy and nice looking box. Pleasant to see it on a shelve without thinking it being a regular box for simple storage.

I bought 2 of these for my office, which is part of our family room, so something attractive was important to me. These are stylish, as well as functional.

File box is nice weight. Well made and expect to last a long time. Hanging files fit perfectly. Attractive, usable product.

The file box looks nice and it is fairly sturdy. I haven't owned enough paper laminate file boxes to have much of a basis for comparison, though. The leather pull strap on the front is a pretty nice feature. I'm only giving it 3 starts, however, for a few reasons: 1) The box is over-priced. At the end of the day, it's a $30 cardboard box. I knew what it was when I bought it, so some of this is on me, but I kind of expect more. Other file boxes I wanted were either out of stock or only offered in crazy bundles, and I like that this one has a whole family of other boxes that match if I decide to add on. 2) The hanging files don't slide that well along the top where the hanger meets the box. I can fix this myself by putting some kind of trim cover over it like another reviewer did for some other file box, but after paying $28.99 for a paper box I don't really feel like I should have to fix anything. 3) The box could be bigger. I still have enough room for what I need, but after buying a pack of 25 hanging files, I used about 10 or so of them and stored the rest in the back of the box. This can make for a tight fit when you want to open a folder wide to drop something in, especially when storing paper manuals. Overall this file box is a pretty good, albeit pricey, solution for getting my paper crap that I want to keep out of a shoe box and somewhat organized AND allowing it to look good on a shelf.
