I bought two of this book, one for my daughter and one for her friend as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, one book has some dirt on it. This is unacceptable.

I bought this for my niece for Xmas because books like this make kids curious and interested in how everything works. I had something similar as a kid and I still wanna know everything about everything. Well, I could not help myself and I'm almost done reading it before I wrap it. It's easy and fun to read and its guaranteed you'll learn something every time you open it. The pictures are from national geographic so the book is gorgeous. Will look for more like this

I bought the National Geographic Kids ‘Why?’ book for my 5 year old and it has honestly been one of the best purchases I have ever made! I was a little unsure if it would hold her attention at her age but I could not have been more wrong. From the very first page she was completely hooked! The bright, colorful pictures and stunning photography immediately drew her in and she has been carrying it around the house with her ever since. She loves sitting with me and going through the pages together, pointing at the pictures and asking even more questions — which is just adorable! What I love most is how simple and fun the explanations are — perfectly pitched for little ones. It never talks down to them but explains everything in a way a 5 year old can actually understand and get excited about. Her curiosity has absolutely exploded since we got this book! We read it together every night before bed and it has become her favorite part of the day. She has already told her teacher about some of the facts she has learned which made me such a proud mum! If you have a curious little 5 year old who is full of questions about the world, do not hesitate — this book is pure magic. Highly recommend!

He loves to pull out the book and share facts with mom, dad, grandma and grandpa and pretty much anyone who will listen. A great book for any “know-it-all”.
