Really Good, But Not Great!!
Over all, I am very pleased with this product. I purchased it to accommodate a cordless hand-held mic at the lecturn of my church. The mic has a metal shell and requires two AA batteries, so it is substantial. The adjustable gooseneck mount I purchased is very, very nicely made, and even comes with two interchangeable mic grips to choose from. My only complaint is that the gooseneck is not quite strong enough, or more appropriately, not quite rigid enough to keep it from drifting down a bit under the weight of the mic. Other that that, EXCELLENT!!

Flimsy WILL NOT HOLD A WIRELESS MICROPHONE.
I bought this for the podium at my church. It will not hold the wireless mic; it falls. I will reinforce it with a thick copper wire I have lying around and wrap it with electrical tape. It is a poor design. This is total garbage. The threads are plastic and the mic holder falls off.

Works very well for a webcam mount
I bought one of these to mount a webcam on the wall. I purchased a separate adapter to take the threads from standard 5/8"-27 to 1/4"-20 which fit the webcam I was using. It positioned perfectly and has held its position since it was installed. The camera was a small webcam, which weighs only a couple of ounces, so I don't know how this would perform with a conventional microphone.

Weak!
The goosneck can't hold the weight of a standard mic without drifting down. Constantly messing with mic to keep it up.
