Great for the beginner or intermediate player looking to improve sight reading.
I like this book as it perfectly fits my needs. I am a beginner \ intermediate player i.e. I can play grade 5 tunes by memory but my sight reading is poor so it takes months to learn more advanced pieces. What I really want and need is to improve my sight reading so for that I need cut down basic popular songs I can practice every day - this book provides just that.I think the versions are too basic for more advanced players but for me they are perfect and I find it more interesting reading popular rather than classical tunes.I know some people complained about the tight binding, tbh I just use clothes pegs to pin it to the piano and it solved the problem!
