Going strong after a year in tough Dubai weather! Still looks so good an very durable
Ive been using this Cargo bag for over a year now. The hard weather in dubai over the summer made me think to remove it during the summer as it gets up to 45 C’ (degrees) here, but it actually holds - hasn’t had a bit of melting/or tear because of weather conditions. Easy to set-up, Im a girl with a lot of camping equipment and its a game changer! Bonus*— I’ve been putting it through many car washes as well and works absolutely fine, feels durable, very tough and does fine without extra cargo cable belts but I bought extra just incase. Works great even without extra bars as I just tie it to my Ford Edge roof bars. Going strong!

Amazing item delivers what promises
I drive a large KIA sorento and have three kids. The boot fills up quickly even for short breaks.I bought this and I have now used it for four long journeys +3000km each. All of them had rain, but the last one was with buckets! I was driving somewhere in Serbia in rain +hale to the point we had to pull over to the side and wait in the car for the rain to ease! Later that night Iwas watching the pool of water forming on top of the bag all night! I was sure the water had found its way in. After 4 days of driving in rain I opened the bag. Bone dry everything! The bag hadn't moved an inch! The straps still strong! Honestly what else do you want from your roof box?I tend to put lighter boxes less than 7kg each at the front to fill it up and raise the edges. It holds a lot, you will be amazed how much! The only limitation is how much weight your roof can hold. It should be evenly distributed to keep the box at shape. One thing to remember is that all items in the box will slightly move backwards, so its important the items at the back wont break. As you can see from the photo I put the box IN BETWEEN the roof bars directly on the car's roof. I then tie the straps all 8 at the bars. In my car the side bars do not allow straps to be tight. The only issue with the bag is its security from thieves. Its dead easy to lift it up as one item or to open up the zip and steal its content. I have left it out in "secured" public and hotel parkings and so far so good! Its always in my mind though! If it breaks I would buy it again without second thoughts!

As advertised - The Asani Cargo Bag is Waterproof and durable!
I purchased this bag 4 weeks ago. Let me start by explaining what we currently use.Our hard top cargo space:My family has a hard top carrier for our Honda Pilot 2009. Our hard top carrier is great and works well. However, Storing it when not in use is difficult. Its big, requires to 2 people to lift it on top of our truck, requires 2 people to remove it from our truck and finding a place to store it is a challenge. Our current Asani Cargo Bag purchase:Pros:Waterproof - I wanted to test this bag before going camping. I placed it on our roof filled with 4 Sleeping bags, 4 Pillows and a small suitcase. I left it on the roof for 7 days. I selected a good week to test, when the weather was not Freezing and we were expected to get Rain. Results were astounding. Everything remained dry! I honestly didn't expect it to really be Waterproof. This bag proved me wrong.Easy Removal - The bag was able to be removed by 1 person with ease. No banging around and scratching our vehicle like the hard top carrier we own. This is a big plus!Available Space - This carrier bag had the same if not slightly more space then our hard top carrier.Zippers - Very strong zippers. I would not be afraid of these breaking on your trip. Also has a nice flap that covers over the zippers.Straps - Very easy to use and secure on top of your vehicle. I would not be afraid of this coming loose. Excellent Design.Cons:Slight noise while driving - I didn't have any straps flapping. But there was a slight noise. I suspect from the bag condensing and shifting where the wind hit it. This is not a huge noise but I wanted to be fair and note it. Maybe if I absolutely pushed the bag to the limits and filled it stuffed it wouldn't have as much wiggle room to condense.Storage - I had trouble getting it bag into the tiny bag it came with. I am also that guy who can't get a tent bag into the bag they come with. My fix which is not a big deal... I bought a very small duffle bag to place it in. Same I do for our tents. Now I can just hang it on a hook in my garage.Didn't happen but could happen - If you go into the woods camping, driving through trees I would be careful not to brush too many trees. A sharp branch could tear the bag or any other soft bag. Not specific to this brand.

Excellent alternative to a fixed roof rack.
Excellent good-quality, product. Very waterproof. We drove to Sydney through torrential rain for almost four hours (Sydney copped 300 mm of rain that night) and not a drop penetrated to the luggage within.Easy to fit and remove, it provides a much lower profile (therefore less top-heavy and more fuel efficient) than a fixed roof rack with lots of luggage. Highly recommended.
