I use this handle sleeve with Le Creuset, Staub, Griswold, and Lodge cast iron skillets & griddles. The ridges inside the handle sleeve provide a firm grip on the cast iron no matter the brand and ensure that the handle stays cool. The sleeve itself is thick and sturdy--after an hour in the oven (by accident, NOT recommended) the color changed from blue to brownish blue, but it's still usable. That, to me, is impressive. I went back and forth about the price of this item ($20 at cookware stores, $16 on Amazon), but after my first purchase, I know they're worth far more than what I paid. Far, far better than the Lodge silicone cover which is super loose even on their own products and thin OR any of the fire hazard cloth handle covers.

Perfect - exactly as advertised. Cannot fault

Using this on an industrial pan with a flat handle and it does the job well. It's a bit loose as it's not designed specifically for this pan, but it's great to quickly put on to the handle when removing the pan from the oven.

Does the trick.

The handle sleeve slips easily on the handle of the skillet. However, it can feel a bit loose and insecure, so you would not want to hold the skillet vertically (With the pan downwards) with this, cause it may just slip out of the sleeve.
