These are so, so cute! The little bell is nice, it's not too loud but it's helpful to know where your kitty is. But the other reviewers are right, your cat might learn how to kick it off (or, in my case, the other cat will figure out how to bite it off). They get loose way too easily. If you have an outdoor cat, and/or need to make sure your cat's name tag stays on, I would advise against these.My cats are indoor-only, so it wasn't a huge deal. Now both my cats don't wear collars at all. If I put these on they'll kick them off super fast.

UPDATE: The girls have had the colors for some time now and my main complaint is that I constantly have to adjust them as the slide to a bigger size very easily. This make my little one get her mouth stuck on it if she looks down with her mouth open or is cleaning herself. This is my 2 month old,Ember's, first collar and so far she's not liking the feeling but I am loving how cute the collar is on her. Slowly but surely she will love it as it's very soft and light weight. I tested the breakaway and can confirm they both work perfectly. My 4 mont old, Calypso, hasn't messed with her collar so no adjusting has been needed, Ember on the other hand keeps scratching at it, but the loops don't come off. I just have to pull it back into place. The bells have a nice sound and can be heard well. The colors and patterns are very pretty and complement both of my girls' coats.I love them so far, can't comment on the durability as it's only day two but I say buy them 😊

Beautiful, soft collar, and the bell is a nice loud one with a pretty sound. I like the break away collar that doesn't break as easily as most on the market. I am pretty sure my cat has figured out how to easily get that kind off as she has lost many of them within a very short time. Though because of the stretch of the material, I suspect if caught, kitty could easily wiggle out of it. This may be the first collar, my cat likes. I love this collar and will likely get a few more, after all the girl must have options.Update***We recently purchased a new one of these beautiful collars to replace the old one. We only did so because after escaping into the great unknown of the outside world, she must have partied hard and lost her collar in the process. In the morning there she was meowing at the door with a look of shame and sadness on her face knowing that her beloved collar would probably never be found and is hanging on a fence post somewhere. Partly I blame myself as I noticed it was looser than it should have been. In the days prior to the great loss, It was hanging low because I exercised poor judgement and thought 'why not attach the leash directly to the collar'. Well don't do this if you want to keep your kitty close. It does it's job, and is good at breaking away when kitty freaks out and decides to run for it. Of course she thought it was even more fun leading me through yards and across apartment decks. Fairly certain she was trying to get me in trouble by getting someone to report a suspicious person stalking around the apartments, and houses.I never really had to readjust the collar too often, but once in awhile it needs to be tightened. The tug on the leash had caused the knots to slip. So the fault is my folly, by not tightening the collar after putting it back on her and by allowing it to hang a bit low. Perhaps if I had taken a second to gently pull the knots secure, it wouldn't have snagged on whatever it snagged on. Lesson learned. But really this collar was in great shape and has held up well. So here we are buying another one (and a new id tag). Perhaps one of neighborhood felines will find her collar and return it, and not steal her id trying to score some catnip. Keeping a lookout for some burly looking cats with a pretty kimono collar and going by the name Mittens.

The collar is cute, but it becomes loose very easy and requires constant adjustment. Also, it doesn’t break-away.

It's soft, lightweight and doesn't rub my cats' fur off. They have lasted about two years before a new kitten (who got the hand-me-down collar precisely because I knew he'd teeth on it) managed to chew through the fabric. I ordered another one and expect it will last over two years.

Super cute!! The closure is 50/50. My active cat looses it often, but my chill one hasn’t lost it yet. The slip knot design isn’t the best with the type of fabric (easier for the knot to slip and loosen collar). I have to tighten collar about 1x a week.

So this collar is much nicer than I expected. Our cats name is Koi so I wanted to get him a japanese collar. My wife really didn't want this because she though it looked cheap from the images on amazon. Now that it has arrived she is angry at me that she likes it so much. The colors in the fabric really pop and the material doesn't feel cheap or fragile. The bell is a nice touch with the opening forming the cat heads nose and mouth. Its also a pretty loud bell. The only thing that prevents this from being a 5 star review is the clasp. It is supposed to be breakaway, but I yanked on it pretty hard and it will not breakaway like other collars we have had.

Bought 2 collars for my cats. Initially I noticed a sore on the neck of one cat. Seemed to be caused by the knot in the collar. I tightened the knot and made it flat, which solved that problem. After several months I realised that both cats were completely bald beneath the collars. They were fitted correctly, not too loose or too tight. I contacted the seller several times via Amazon but there was no response. I then contacted Amazon who arranged for me to return collars to seller for a refund. Still no response from seller, so Amazon refunded full amount. Beautiful looking collars and soft fabric so no idea why they pulled out or wore away cats fur. Another problem is that the knots slide very easily and the collars get too loose. Disappointing considering how much they cost.

I purchased this cat collar as a gift for my sons Russian Blue kitten. He was thrilled with the gift. He said the material & its colour is beautiful & he especially liked the kitty bell. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Love this collar! It is so cute. The only issue is that it does come loose easily, so I have to tighten it once and a while. Otherwise it is a great collar and looks so cute on my cat.
