I will be etching around 300 glasses with one letter on each glass will I need one or two bottles of cream?

You can reuse the cream over and over, so one should do it. I put the cream heavy on the stencil, and when the time is up, I brush it back up and scrape it back into the container. I don't think I will ever use this whole bottle!

I want to etch whole pieces of glass 2'x1.5' about 8 pieces. Will this bottle work? Any suggestions?

It says on their website that it's not recommended for etching large, solid areas of glass. I think you may be better off looking into frosted spray paint.

Is this 22-ounce enough to sketch an entire glass window the size of a door?

Yes, but if you are trying to etch large areas of glass, or are frosting the glass, etching solution will leave a splotchy look. Use window film in frosted to achieve a uniform look.

Can you use vynal to make you templates, or does it need to be a certain matreial?

We used contact paper. Which is basically vinyl with a sticky side to it, so yes, you should be able to use vinyl. If you want clean edges, the sides of your template will need to be pretty tight to your glass, otherwise you will get some bleeding around the edges.
