Bought this to fit a 5000 BTU 16' window AC to get around the irregular surface of a storm-window sill. Took me awhile to set this up right but it's more due to my inexperience than the product. The instructions are clear -- I would have drilled less holes if I had noticed my AC is not balanced even though the instructions cautioned me beforehand. The support seems study and takes on the AC's weight pretty easily. One possible improvement would be to include additional and different anchor filler pieces to fit different sill heights -- I substituted one of the fillers with a piece of wood to make up the height difference.

If the window ac is 40kg or more then you need to bracket support

I purchased this for my new air conditioners. It’s certainly strong enough. I have used A/C safe bracket in the past. This bracket like that somewhere. Designed to go on to window sill, so air conditioner can sit on it. They do support the air conditioner. But this bracket is better than what I have purchased from other brands. It has longer shelf which holds the unit in place steadily. The shelf length is 13.6 inch. I can trust the windows to keep them safe. Conversely, other brands seems a little bit short to give enough support. It is quite easy to put them in as instructions. The instructions provided with the mount give a pretty good detail as how to install the bracket on different types of sills. It also shows how to adjust the rubber foot for the correct angle easily. You just need to place max angled (about 45 degree) end of leg flat against underside of body. Then the rubber foot won’t be able to slide off. But make sure your sill can place the concave block which is about 1 1/2 inch. Also, the window to the outside wall needs 3-4 inch at least. I really like the ease of installation and quality. This support worded perfectly for its purpose.
