Smells Like Sunshine; Suitable for Thin, Fine Locks
The Voir Haircare's A Walk in the Sun Luxury Hair Oil comes in a simple 2oz glass pump for $32, as of this writing. Always pick this up from the glass body. I have a nasty habit of grabbing it at the pump, and I forget that the cap sits loosely atop it. The bright sunny yellow oil blend inside even smells like sunshine, floral, and warm.I have naturally red hair (not color-treated or heat-styled). It is thin, fine, and flat—no psoriasis or dandruff. It runs normal-to-slightly oily if I haven't washed in a couple of days, and I prolong washes with dry shampoo. The older I get, the less oily I am.While the Walk in the Sun hair oil can be applied to slightly damp hair, I prefer it dry. Take two pumps; any more is a waste, and massage it between your palms. Then comb your hands throughout the body of your tresses to dispense. Try not to use a heavy hand or an excessive amount. You can always add more later. Less is more here, trust me. I use a sparing amount so I don't inadvertently over-oil and weigh down my locks. Using this method, I'm able to glean the nourishing benefits of this oil without making my lifeless hair even flatter.I think for the packaging, performance, and formulation, $32 for 2oz of this oil, seeing as it will likely last you months, makes this a good deal. Smells fantastic (on-brand) and feels nourishing, gentle. But don't get cute and use this on your body. The primary base in this is coconut oil, which can clog pores and lead to acne. And the added fragrance could be potentially irritating if applied directly to the skin.

Smells fantastic
So, my hair is kind of a disaster these days. Thanks to covid, I haven't gotten it cut or colored in almost 8 months. It's got heat damage and tons of split ends, so it's always dry. Hair oil is a must in my routine. My hair is naturally wavy, so I sleep with it up in a satin-lined cap at night to protect it from damage and frizz. Before I put it up for the night, I always give it a once over with some hair oil, which helps it look shiny and healthier when I refresh my waves in the morning. My (and my husband's) chief complaint about most hair oil is usually smells like you just stepped out of Whole Foods. I get that that's usually because of of the natural oils, blah, blah...but sorry, yuck. Now, since I usually only use hair oil at night, I don't care about that too much. But to my surprise and delight, I was very pleased to find that this hair oil has a wonderful scent. It's really lovely. And it doesn't smell like Whole Foods at all. Ha!I also really like that it comes in a pump bottle and is more viscous than many other hair oil brands I've tried. No droppers to fumble with or thin oil to slip between your fingers.I really have nothing but positive things to say about this hair oil. It does a great job. It's easy to use. And it smells fantastic. Highly recommend.

Smells really nice
My hair has been quite dry as I recently balayage-d it. Some parts have been dry like straw and just needs moisture and oils. I applied a small amount on specific areas after blow drying and my hair feels and smells nice! It helped bring the frizz down, since parts of my hair is dry, knotted up and frizzy. Once I’ve applied the oils I am able to brush my hair out much more easily and untangle the rat’s nest on certain spots of my head.My bottle arrived spilled as the pump head got a little loose during transit and the bottle was covered with a good amount of oil. Since this oil is a little more expensive I felt bad a good amount was wasted. Just be aware that your product may arrive with oils all over the packaging. All in all, this is a nice hair oil. I don’t often use hair oils because I have long, silky hair and it usually flattens my already fine hair. However, with the recent minor damage after getting it colored I wanted to start healing my strands with oils. This has done a good job in bringing moisture back to my hair.

An Oily Mess
I was disappointed when I got this oil in the mail. The cap was not properly screwed on which lead it to leak almost half the bottle. It was an oily mess. As far as the product itself, here are my thoughts:The GOOD:-beautiful glass packaging-controls frizz-adds a nice luster shine on dry hairThe BAD:-scent is bright and beachy smelling but leans more on the masculine side-scent will not wash off hands even after multiple use of soap and water-scent caused me to have a headache-hair to wash off hair without a good clarifying conditionerI had difficulty with this hair oil. While the packaging was lovely and all, the scent was truly cloying to me. When I went to shampoo my hair, I could still smell the oil lingering in my hair. If you love hair oils with strong fragrances, this might be for you. But if you're someone that often sticks to unscented, fragrance-free, and natural products, I would not recommend this.

Smells AMAZING ☀️ Smooths hair
This "A Walk in the Sun Luxury Hair Oil" smells AMAZING. It truly smells like sunshine - fresh, a bit floral, a bit citrusy - but in a sweet, not tangy way, with a hint of coconut or vanilla. I wish they made a perfume or a body lotion in this scent. I want to smell it all day long. It's not strong in the hair - I can just smell a faint whiff of it throughout the day.The oil itself is thin, and it really does absorb quickly. I have long hair and I use 2-3 pumps and work it all through my hair. It definitely made my ends smoother, and my hair looks sleeker all along the length. It's not heavy or greasy at all.The only issue I had was the bottle had leaked. It arrived with the outer box and label on the bottle with oil stains. The cap was loose and there was thickened oil all around the cap.Other than that, I loved this hair oil and I would definitely get more.Made in Canada
