I was a little skeptical, but these are really well-made and work well! They fit perfectly in my hand (female) and the action is smooth and easy for me to use. I don’t know how durable they are because I’ve only had them a few days, but they all work and I love that it comes with a little bag to put them all in. The gloves are cloth with rubber over the hand. And the little item that looks like a pair of tweezers is actually a pair of shears as well ! I guess they are for working with small shoots. If you’re like me, you’re going to buy new shears almost yearly, you might as well get these, they’re worth it!

This was a surprisenly nice set! They are made with good quality (the bag it comes with fell apart pretty quickly but thats not a real loss), they are easy to use and do a wonderful job at cutting thicker stems as well as small intricate ones to preserve flowers. I purchased these months ago- mostly to use for flower arrangements for my wedding- and each time I use them (weekly) I am impressed with the product. I used to do landscaping and really go through my tools as I use them so much so I appreicate a good product when I encounter one. These are comfortable, compact and clean up nicely.

For the price, you can't beat this set. It's my third set (2 for me, 1 for a friend), and I've used my first set at least 5 times with no breakage--so the quality is great for the price. I have at least 12 rose bushes, and I switch my cutting tools between bushes to avoid spreading disease, then clean them all at the end. 10 pruners (2 sets) will make my work faster and easier. The tools are sharp, and I love the colors--so I can differentiate mine from my friend's set. Each tool has its own lock, which will help them stay sharp and last longer. I like that they come in a black bag to keep them together, but a plastic box would be perfect to better protect the sharp tools and avoid hand nicks (it may drive up the price, but I would pay an extra $2-3 for the safety). My hands are large but slim, and I use my own thicker gloves to protect my hands and gel manicure--but these did fit well. I think the gloves are basic. They will not protect against thorns, and I don't remember if they're waterproof or anything (DOUBTFUL), but still a nice starter set/bonus for the price. For the folks who have had the tools break or give trouble, I think you have to use your judgement to grab the right tool for the job--some are for light leaf and stem cutting, others are for thicker canes and branches. This should be obvious and expected when using any garden tool. One of the tools on my set sticks a little when I cut, but that is no different than more expensive pruners I've owned--so still a GREAT deal for the price.

Great value, works well, good quality product, great price

The set was great, very sharp and responsive clippers for various plant maintenance duties, plus a pair of gloves! You actually do need the variety of cutters, for all different stem thicknesses when pruning, clippping,etc. The right tool for the job, as is said, and true! I gifted these and wow that was a home run, to my house plant heavy friend! No more cutting with scissors which are not really what is needed, but a wonderful set of lightweight tools to handle most house plant and gardening tasks! A great and thoughtful variety of cutters for you or a friend is never going to go to waste, especially when you can split up the set and keep some/gift some, too! I like these and would recommend !

This is a really nice pruning set that even comes in its own carrying case. The different shear types have different colored handles. The shears were sturdy and the handle grips were comfortable. If gardening is your thing, or you know someone who loves to garden, this is a great set.

These are good quality tools for a beginner, you get a good variety for different applications and the price is right on target

Nice and sharp, they're all working well so far. The are a budget priced set and I bought them during the Amazon sale days. They're better than the not as cheap supermarket ones I have.
