Small and rugged enclosure, we installed it on the roof in a 4 x 4 inch electrical plastic box, which is directly exposed to the sun and rain. Even exposed to the sun which means high temperature the device performs excellent. The device is installed as now for 1.5 month and no issue. For ventilation we only drilled some holes at the underside of the box. so no water can get into the box. Highly recommend taking into consideration the cost of the Ethernet repeater, for 120 Meters. We are using a ACTI IP Camera 2MP connected to the repeater.

Work great. Been in a outside hot environment for over 1 month now with no issues. We have 12 of these running.

DID NOT WORK AT ALL
Wanted to extend the range of poe ip cameras beyond 300', lights came on but it did not extend a 250' foot cable an additional 200' feet, you should be able to go about 320' with the first run of cat5e and the description states this will add another 120 meters in cable length for poe cameras. Did not perform at all!
