Organic Wellness Company Calcium Magnesium Supplement with Calcium Orotate(120 Count) – Rapid Absorption for Maximum Health Benefits

I tried this brand as a replacement for the straight NCI Advanced Research Calcium orotate we had been taking for about 3 years because this contains magnesium, Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K, thus saving the extra cost of purchasing those additional necessities for calcium absorption. This has two kinds of calcium and two kinds of magnesium and I wasn't sure it would be as good as the all calcium orotate. It IS. We do supplement with a bit of extra magnesium also, but that is probably not necessary for most people.Neither my husband nor I have any problems with decreasing bone mass so I can not say if this would help for that, but because we are old (he's over 80, I'm a bit under that) and consume very little dairy/cheese/yogurt and not enough greens, we need a calcium supplement.The supplier sent an email requesting a review shortly after I made the first purchase of this product and I wrote back to tell them I did not review ANY supplement until I had used it long enough to see if it worked. Now I can say: THIS WORKS! My guide to measuring how a calcium/magnesium supplement is working for me is how often I have to cut my hair and fingernails. This really does work as well as the NCI brand and I am saving money!The bottle says 2 per day, but I've found that taking 2 one day and 3 one day alternately works best for me - and for my husband also.

My bones in my pelvis are "osteopenic" and so the doc tells me I must take Calcium. I won't have another DEXA scan​ for several months, so I can't report that sort of change. I can report that 1. These are easier to swallow than the other 4 types I have tried. 2. My bones don't hurt anymore and 3. I don't see the evidence of too much calcium (cloudy urine) leaving me. So, I'm happy and will continue!

I immediately felt a difference after starting these supplements. The type of ingredients I needed, and the fact it contained calcium orotate drew me to purchase. Also. The fact that it is non-GMO, organic, vegan friendly, etc. I hope the Organic Wellness Company is around forever! I will continue to purchase this item!!! I also want to look into if they have other products. Highly recommend!!!

Go with the Garden of Life version to get your calcium instead, MUCH higher quality, (some capsules empty or falling apart, even wrong info on the bottle), if a company can't even put correct info onto it's product's bottle, how much care do you think is going into the product itself?

I have not had my blood tested yet, and will change this review should my calcium fall beneath acceptable levels. I was on another calcium supplement, and I know it was not being absorbed. After researching the types of calcium, I came across Organic Wellness Company. I am on my second bottle, and will continue with this company as long as my calcium levels are acceptable.

Pros: vegan, contains factors needed for vitamin d absorption.Cons: my muscles ache when I take certain kinds of vitamin d. This is one of them, and that may not be true for others. Also, the levels of calcium in the bottle are a relatively low percentage of the daily requirements. Maybe this is because it's in a highly absorbable delivery?

It arrived right on time and properly packaged. It was exactly as described. I also got a friendly follow-up message explaining the formula. I've done a bit of my own reading on how calcium is absorbed, and this is formula is absolutely consistent with the current research.
