what are the ingredients ? why aren't the ingredients shown?

Most products like this dont have animal sources depending on the company where it is made and what other products they make but this product used to be good but they changed it and made the bioflavnoid complex weaker which is wrong for every 500 mg of Vitamin C there should be at least 100mg of the bio complex. this product used to have 200mg of the bio- complex for the 1000mg pills and it doesnt now and this is what makes the vitamin C effective as an anti inflammatory and immune stimulant So this product isnt good now

Is dose two tablets to get 1000 mg C?

No! It's already 1000 mg. There are some pkgs that come as 500 mg that say take twice a day. It is better to take 500 mg @ am and another 500 mg @ pm. Anything over 500 mg at a time just gets wasted out into your urine, but it's cheaper to buy the 1000 mg and cut it in half. When taking this vitamin I find I never get sick other than that once a year spring into summer season change! Then it's so mild and moves on so quickly in just a couple of days. Hope this helps! Also, when I stopped taking them I found I got sick often and weeks at a time!
