A great house addition.
The cage light looks well on a close inspection, and when teamed with a colored globe it stands out very well.

Great exterior lamp
Great weather proof product. nice silicone gasket between base and screw on glass mantle which keeps moisture out of the bulb compartment. I would purchase this product again !!!

Easy to Install and Well Worth the Investment
I purchased four of these lights a few weeks ago to install in a 260 sf room for an industrial look. The ceiling has exposed rafters, so I opted to install them by suspending them from fixture boxes with steel pipe. I found them to be very well made and easy to install. They can accept up to a 150 Watt incandescent bulb, but they provide ample light with a 100 Watt equivalent LED bulb. All this for a very reasonable price.

Excellent light for my chicken coop!
I built a big shed coop and I was using a cheap strip of leds - I wired this up to a timer and now they have light in the morning to like 8 pm I have it turn off. I may buy a 2nd one because it's a big area but I like the fact its got its own box.

Easy to install, well designed
I live at the ocean so the coating on this product matters. The coating seems sturdy but ocean air and time will tell whether this is a true “marine grade” product.

These do mount to 4-inch round electrical boxes, but the instructions don't explain how.
These are sturdy, high quality lights. I mounted a pair of them in my garage ceiling because my kids are always throwing tennis balls around and I wanted to protect the naked light bulbs. Besides, I really like the industrial look these fixtures provide. My only complaint is the instruction manual, which did not make clear that in order to mount these to drywall ceilings and a conventional 4-inch round electrical box, the top part of the light fixture housing must be removed. That's probably obvious to experienced electricians, but not to a first-timer. When I initially tried to mount the fixture, I quickly realized the two screw holes have a 5-inch spread and won't mate to a 4-inch round electrical box. At first, I thought I had to purchase some sort of an adapter to make it fit, but upon closer inspection, I realized I had to unscrew a pair of set screws on the inside of the upper housing and remove the conduit-accepting upper part of the fixture to reveal a conventional 4-inch mount. But, that fact was not obvious to me without some poking around. There is no information about it in the instructions, so I wasted more time that I care to admit. The electrical connections were easy and straightforward, but if you're like me and have never hung one of these before, just know that the instructions don't volunteer much in the way of helpful information. In hindsight, it's clear that the upper housing that I removed is meant for securing it to masonry or a stud for security purposes and to make it vandal-proof.
