Mirror Work: 21 Days to Heal Your Life Review: Thoughtful and Supportive - I haven’t fully completed the book yet, but I did go through it and started the first exercise. Life pulled me away for a bit, but I really appreciate the approach and intention behind it. I look forward to coming back to it, continuing the exercises, and finishing the journey. It feels supportive and thoughtfully written. Review: Practical, Easy to Use, Everything You Need to Start Loving Yourself! - It's about creating a real connection with yourself. When was the last time that you really looked at your own face and didn't criticize it or praise it only for superficial purposes? You may find it easy or hard to say, "I love you" to yourself. Emotions may come to the surface that surprise you. You may write a lot or a little in your journal or device. And meditation may be something you do or avoid, but the daily meditations included are short enough to be squeezed into even the busiest of days. Starting off your day with "Mirror Work", finding moments throughout to check in with yourself, and ending your day with it might make a difference in your life. Daily themes, journaling exercises, affirmations, and looking yourself boldly in the eye, facing those inner challenges to loving yourself unconditionally has been combined in a format that is easy to use and follow. Even my inner, eye rolling, skeptic felt hopeful. This is an exercise book without the wordy self-help book to introduce the exercises. I liked that a lot because it either works or it doesn't. I don't need to be convinced, just to do it for myself. 21 days, a mirror, and journal and pen or a device and you could be loving yourself and healing things that have been challenges. That's all that is needed along with this book to do inner work to change your outer reality. Sounds too good to be true or too simple to work. Well, there is only one way to find out: try it for yourself. I have read a number of Louise L. Hay books, including Heal Your Life. I wasn't sure if anything new to me would in this book. It's not that there is anything new per se, but that it is presented in a different way. I skimmed it at first. But as I sat to write the review, I began to read it and do the exercises. This is a keeper! If you have never read any self-help books, have read many, or are just looking for a supplement to the ones you are reading, this could be the one that you did not know that you were missing. There is also bonus content offered in the form of the audio version of the daily meditation read by the author. I found her voice to be soothing and a very good addition to the book. Note: I received a review copy from NetGalley. This is my honest review. After reading it, I 1-clicked and bought my own copy.

Simple, Yet Powerful
Now, I don’t believe you can necessarily heal your life in 21 days, although you can definitely get at deeper layers and heal in a way that almost seems too simple with this book. Succinct, powerful…definitely recommend no matter how much self-love you already have. This gook serves as a great reminder!!!

Beautiful affirmations to calm the mind.
Love the guided meditations at the end of each chapter, almost like the ones on my Insight timer phone app. With all the frustrations of the pandemic and lockdown, this book was perfect to help me indulge in self care, without requiring too much time or effort! For those who don't believe in law of attraction, think of the mirror work affirmations as substitutes for the mantras provided in transcendental meditation. It would be great if there were templates available to complete the journing activities, and some of the content gets repetitive. On the whole, an excellent book but only if you truly choose to work on it!

Precious guide to read and re-read
Change doesn’t happen in one day, but they do happen. In this 21 day journey it covered different types of exercises to keep us engaged into the most important themes of our lives.
