I was doing some car AC work but did not want to spend a fortune for a vacuum pump, found this pump, quite skeptical but the review seems good. I was able to pull -20PSI (according to the gauge), you do need a good compressor as this thing needs a good flow to make vacuum. Nothing to complain, this thing just works.

A bit slow and consumes a lot of air, but works perfectly.

I have a 60 gal compressor and use it for auto a/c work. works perfectly. No need for me to buy a $200 vacuum pump. If you have a smaller compressor this may not work for you. For my purposes, its the best bang for the buck. Very happy with it.

Very nice little unit that works with compressed air. But this unit is not for everyone since it does have many limitations. Also, this unit does use a lot of air to get the job done, so unless you have a large industrial compressor, then I suggest that you look elsewhere for an all in one unit that has an electric pump on it. Also, if you are looking to capture existing refrigerant from your A/C then look for a unit that has that feature. This unit is very simple and it does a good job of clearing moisture out of an already clean system that is free of refrigerant. I use it to remove moisture and to create and hold a vacuum in an A/C system that needs to be refilled. Before you buy it, carefully assess your needs and make sure you have a large air compressor to use it. Also, if you need to remove any refrigerant take it to a professional or get the proper equipment to complete such a task.
