Is this product supposed to turn white when you emulsify it in the palms?

No, should not turn white at all.

So, does it work on thin hair too or should I stick to mousse? Thanks in advance!

I buy this for my husband. I have thin hair and have used it (very small amount) and it works. I still prefer more of a leave in conditioner because I don't like any stiffness in my hair. But yes, you can use one thin hair. Just use very small amount. I have shoulder length hair and used about a pea size dollop.

what are the ingredients?

The list of ingredients is much too long to give all but I will give the first few if that will help.Aqueos, extracts, chamomile, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, hydrogenated castor oil...and the list goes on. This only takes a small drop to give your hair body and does wonders restoring texture. Have used it for years and wouldn't use anything else. Hope this help.
