Long Printed Dori Skirt from Gujarat with Patch Work - Rayon

The shipping was super fast, coming all the way from India. The skirt itself is pretty decent quality. Each linen scrap is pretty heavy and seems to be put together well. However, the skirt that came is absolutely not the color scheme shown in the picture. The skirt was supposed to be solid black pattern on an army / olive background. I got a skirt that is predominantly black with mostly sage /army green patterns and some burgundy and other complimentary colors thrown in. I actually like this color scheme BETTER so I'm going to keep it. I'm sure the clothing company works with whatever scrap they have available and honestly it kind of makes the skirt feel a bit more one of a kind.

This skirt is exactly as pictured but even more beautiful! The fabric is soft and thick enough to not be see-through. Best of all, it fits! Usually waists are too tight and skirts are too long but this one is exactly right. I'm 5'2" so if you're tall you might not be as happy with it, though! But I'm thrilled! Color is vibrant and no chemical odor like many fabrics have.

I got the "beige" and I LOVE IT! You need to keep an open mind with this one, but if you like unique and you appreciate the real patchwork design, you'll probably love it too. This is not sheer at all but there is no lining. To be safe, I'll wear a slip, even though you could probably get away without one. The waist is elastic so that will stretch. The rest of it is not stretchy, but there is plenty of room. I could probably fit another person in my skirt. I'm 5'3 and weigh around 128 pounds. My hips are 40-1/2 inches, waist 30 inches. Each skirt is a little different, so yours is not going to look exactly like the photos, but it will look "similar" with the "same color scheme." I think this is really cool!! The patchwork design is 100% real, not a ridiculous looking print. All that being said, you need to accept some things. There is one size. Therefore, I took a photo to show the size of the waist on the one I received. The waist is elastic so it's going to stretch a lot, but it's still nice to have a guideline. I have a 30 inch waist and it fits very snug at the waist, not to the point where it's uncomfortable, but if my waist was just a little bit larger I think it could be a slightly painful. The hem is a little wonky. Actually, it's not even and it's actually unraveling in one spot, so I'm going to have to redo the hem myself so it hangs properly. The stitching on the patchwork looks like it may have been done with embroidery floss...it looks really neat to me, but it's sort of erratic. There is no washing/care label on the skirt. Because of the somewhat loose looking stitches on the patchwork, I washed it on the delicate cycle in the machine, and it came out OK, but I will hand wash it moving forward to be safe. Now I'm gonna order another one :-)

These are definitely handmade with many different color squares (I bought the blue, which has a blue yarn-like thread that goes around each square). I'm 5'8" and this skirt comes to about the top of my feet. I'm about 148 pounds (10 stone 8 pounds or 67.13 kg) and the medium fits great. I like that I can wear many colors with this skirt; it's a lovely boho type skirt.

I wanted to love these skirts but I what I received looks very Different than what is pictured. I purchased the beige and fandango pink and both were completely different colors and patterns. Still very cute but not what I wanted. The patches are a lot bigger than pictured as well.The beige one has huge patches of red and no paisley print either. Debating keeping the pink one but I only got that one bc of the cheetah print in the photo… Buyer beware.

I love this skirt. It is real patchwork and flows beautifully. Skirts in this style are usually one size and a bit on the long side. I am short and petite so I have to flip it over at the waist so it does not drag on floor, which is fine for me as I cover the top with my shirt. It is a beautiful design, although mine has more red than brown. I think mine is actually prettier than the picture, but be warned that these are unique items and the picture may not be exactly what you get. I’m very happy with the purchase.

I returned this item. I expected it to be dusty green and there may have been a few pieces of patchwork dusty green on the skirt, it was contained bright pink and bright turquoise blue and other colors and not much dusty green. I thought it would be all dusty green as pictured above and not include other colors. Also, the sewing on it was mediocre and the fit was a but snug for me. In addition, there was an odor to the garment.

Gorgeous, comfortable, long skirt. I wear it alot. Always get compliments. I also have it in purple 💜

If you are a hippie or hippie at heart, this is perfect. The picture doesn't do the skirt justice. It is easy to match shirts to the skirt.

The printing is attractive but the cloth is very thin and it is transparent.
