An excellent .2 micron filter
An excellent filter for contaminants as small as .2 Microns. There is hardly a noticeable reduction in water pressure. No fault of the filter whatsoever. However most filter manufacturers will not tell you that heavy metals and some algae are reduced to ions in tap water leading from contaminated tanks and pipes. These ions are less than .000002 microns and will remain in filtered water when filtered with anything less than this (or other methods of water purification). Nonetheless, I satisfied that this filter deserves its five stars simply because it does what it says.

I am using his filter for couple of years now. I am happy with the results I am getting. For best results use a .5 micron pre filter.

Finally found a filter to cut down on the microscopic rust in the John!
I filter my water to 1 micron, yet I had rust in the John. Added a second .5 micron filter on the water line feeding the John. Still rust. Tried a .35 micron, Still rust! Tried this .2 micron. Almost all of the rust is now visible in the filter element with little in the bowl. Not sure how long this will last, but right now, 2 months in, it is working.
