Worth the money
Over all I have to say it works for what I bought it for. My grandson was using his tablet to look up the definition and spelling of words. But, when I wasn't in the room he gets side tracked with videos or ads that would pop up. Ironically, the dictionary he had doesn't always have an easy explanation for a second grader in defining words that they can understand. I have found that this is working great we've had it for about 2 weeks now. There are only 2 dislikes. 1) is the size; I wish it was a bit larger. On the box that the owner uses to advertise it You can see that it looks like a good size. You could see by the picture that it's not very big at all. 2) Is if it was black on white meaning the background in white and the writing in black. However, it's an older model so it's bluish black lettering on a green background. But it gives you the definition and it also has a thesaurus that works great as well. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a quick way to help when spelling and finding the meanings to words for first grade to adulthood.

Have know how to spell
This is an ok product. I was disappointed because you have to know how to spell the word. Options are given but vocabulary is limited. I am not a good speller so this product does not help me to understand the definition because my original spelling of the word is incorrect. The games are nice though.

A disappointment at best
This device is smaller than a deck of cards, thinner, it has a very small screen, and the keys are extremely tiny. I've used it for a few weeks now, and invariably I have to revert to a paper dictionary. Its data base of words is too small for my needs. It doesn't easily accept words entered with slight misspellings. The actual definitions consist of very few words most of the time. If I enter a word that I'm not familiar with, this dictionary returns 'sorry can't help' most of the time.Another annoying attribute is when I turn it on, I enter the first letter of my word, and that triggers the unit to ask for me to "Enter a word", instead of taking the letter I just punched in. So I have to punch it in again. Some good things about this dictionary: it is very small, and fits in your shirt pocket. That's it.I have no need of a Thesaurus, so I can't comment on that feature. One other thing: The inside of the lid has hints printed on how to use the dictionary. The font size is so small, I cannot read any of it even with my glasses. So this device is not user friendly for the elderly (that would be me).

Reliable Company
This pocket sized electronic dictionary works as well as a larger one I used 30 years ago from the same company. It is quick and convenient. It does everything the description says it will. Protective cover plate is hinged and seems like it could break off if given to a child, but has been solid thus far with normal use.
