Marriage saver
I bought these for when I mow the lawn and when I run my snowblower. However, they get more use by my wife because I snore like a top fuel dragster. They help her sleep, and consequently, we are still married. I use them when I go camping with my buddies, because after 37 beers, there's a lot of snoring going on. If a bear came into our campsite, we'd all die, because they work so good we'd have no idea that we were about to be eaten.

Thankful!
Bought these for my wife, her line work requires her to wear these. Thus far has worked great! She preferred these then the ones that her job gave her. Highly recommend!

They hurt my ears; might need to get used to?
Update: I decided to give them another try. They still hurt my ears, but I must have got them in better this time, because I did notice a better job at noise reduction. I think my ears are "special" because of my health issues, and therefore, I think it's fair to not discredit these earplugs too much because of that. 4 stars.Original Review:These hurt my ears... maybe it's just my ears, but it feels like my ears are going to explode from pressure, including throbbing sensation. And they made my ears leak more fluid (lol maybe that's a good thing and saved me thousands from an ENT visit 😆). Also, they do not REALLY cancel out noise. I could still hear my TV clearly (at a reasonable volume) when I put these in, it BARELY muffled the sound at all. It KINDA muffled outside noise from neighbors (yard work machinery) and SOME cars that drove by. All in all... the discomfort to wear them (for me) is not worth the discomfort. I gave it 2 stars, only because they DID go into my ears (with some patience) and they did muffle SLIGHTLY. There is a possibility it could just be me... I suffer from bad allergies and sinus infections (which also effect my ears). I've been told my ears have narrowed from scarring. So... if you're like me in this sense? These type of ear plugs are probably not for you. I think I'm going to have to try the kind that go in your outer ear part and not the canal. I won't return them, though, as I feel it wouldn't be fair to the company who I bought them from. I do count them down in stars, because they don't REALLY block out noise, but all the other issues I have are probably more for personal reasons and not product reasons. They did come with a cute little plastic reusable box so you can carry 1 pair with you.

Alternate use.
I use one for my bunion which takes the pressure off the second toe and is soft enough not to cause the pressure when you use harder silicone spacers. In the ear, best sound cancellation results with it pushed as far as you can, but still be able the grab it with fingers.

Excellent ear plugs!
I bought the ear plugs with the intention of keeping my fingers out of my ears since they itch so badly. Once I received them I was eager to use them right away. As instructed, I rolled them between my index finger and thumb and placed them into my ears, holding the end of it for about 30 seconds until I knew it had expanded back to size. However, my first few times I went a little too deep, I think near my eardrum. That's my only warning, practice a few times to see where is most comfortable for you!Other than that, I've washed a pair with warm water and soap, dried them, and left them out to dry for about a day and they were perfect for another round. I wouldn't suggest using them more than three or four times. The noise cancelation is amazing. You CAN still hear, so don't expect everything to go silent, but most loud things are now a manageable tone and quiet things, such as typing, are no longer detectable. If I need more I'll definitely be buying this one again.

Some may not hold shape.
I like to push into ear for full closure, but these just squish and flatten, and won't return to prior shape. Next time I'll buy Howard Leights (Honeywell), tho more expensive, the kind normally used in manufacturing plants, where you can take them out for reuse rather than permanently squished flat where you'll be hard-pressed to get back in the ear. You'd be better off just sticking toilet paper in your ears rather than using these.UPDATE: There will be a few that mash up and not go back to original shape, it seems, so not as disappointed as was initially. Hopefully most are OK, they ARE a cheaper price as compared to Howard Leights mentioned above.

I hate loud noises
Do you hate neighbors, children, alarms, or just need protection when using a lawnmower or doing construction? These are great to have. They're not exactly stealth-brown for annoying relatives like other ear plugs, but they fit well and if you have something over your ears, then those who are less observant will never notice.I swear my annoying relatives can yell out their throats, children can cry their eyes out, my neighbors can party till the world ends, and dogs can bark until the mailmen go home, and I'll be totally stress free compared to how nerve-racking loud sounds can be otherwise.

Mostly good
I love with someone who snores loudly. I need to wear these every night. The ear plugs are very comfortable and reduce the sound. The trouble is they are better at higher frequencies than lower ones.
