Fit exactly like it should. Installed pretty quickly. Makes it look much better under the hood. Had to get a small hose clamp for one of the hoses. But easy fix. Sounds more aggressive. Seems to have a better air flow.

Installed on a 2009 Dodge Charger R/T. It was a perfect fit and very easy to install. I assembled everything in the house expect for the filter. The stock filter removal was quick and easy, just remove the clamp on the motor and remove one screw holding down the filter box. The K&N filter assembly went in with no problems at all. I have not had it long enough to notice fuel economy but I can say that the throttle response is much much better. I now have to adjust how much I step on the gas because the load roar of the motor makes you want to step on it every time and you can feel how much more the car accelerates with just a little gas. Also the inner tube is not soft plastic it is a very shiny smooth surface that allows air to flow perfectly through there. I also found research that the stainless steel tubes will get heat from the engine which will transfer hot air into the intake, this high strength plastic will not transfer the heat. Purchase K&N 57-1542 FIPK intake system for my 08 Dodge Magnum 5.7L engine. I've purchased K&N intake kits for my other vehicles which made the purchase a no brainer. Kit was very easy to install with basic hand tools. Only looked at the instructions in regards to how the rubber trim is installed on filter box and hardware position on brackets during installation. The only issue I really had was getting the air temp sensor and rubber grommet out of the stock air inlet tube to install in the K&N unit - it was a pain! IF you have an engine cover or plan on getting an engine cover, like I did later on, leave the crank case breather tube long that comes with the kit. I cut mine to a good length but later bought a factory engine cover that needed this tube a couple of inches longer. After a hundred miles of driving or so, check all the hardware for tightness. Clean filter when needed. Highly recommend getting a engine tuner before purchase of intake. You really will not get max efficiency from kit without proper engine tune. I have a DiabloSport Trinity tuner running a 93 CAI tune that works great. I've had the K&N kit installed for a few months now and would still highly recommend. The kit has a factory install look and can definitely notice a difference in throttle response and engine sound! Would recommend getting a K&N water repellant filter wrap to help extend filter cleanings and aid in preventing hydro lock in engine.

This cold air intake works really well. Great engine sound, good torque, and horsepower increase and a noticeable increase in the throttle response and a slight increase in fuel milage. Overall, one of the best mods for the money. My only gripe would be the fit. It does not fit perfectly.

I knew I was going to love this intake before I even got it in the mail. K&N's been doing their thing for over 40 years, and I've installed a performance intake on every car and motorcycle I've ever owned. The intstructions are well written, just not the most detailed for the novice garage-guru. I will put emphasis on the the fact that you'll want to retighten your bolts after driving for a while, NOT because there's anything wrong with the product/hardware, but due to the gap between the throttle body and the filter shroud, you may have some play in the saddle-clamp at first. Now, technical aside, I love this intake. The fact that I've gotten an estimated (car gauge reading) gain of 1.2 mpg, noticed better throttle response, torque, sound, AND dresses up your engine bay WAY better than that bulky-black-accordion-brick that came from the factory. Get this intake, and buy it here, where it's cheap. Cheers.

Waiting for a replacement. First one crushed box and re-taped. checked all parts, missing one bracket had two of the same instead of one of each. We will see how the second one goes.

This was for a 2007 300c SRT8 with the 6.1l engine. K&N sent a dyno sheet that shows that a 6.1 hemi will make 31 more horse power compared to stock... objectively I have no way to verify the claimed horsepower improvement, but subjectively it seems to have more ponies under the hood... I do not know if it does or does not...but...dang that 6.1 has a heck of a throaty roar to it now. It sounds like it is going to suck the hood right into the engine...and honestly that was the main reason I bought it... for the increased throaty sound... and any horse power increase is just icing on the cake. Installation was easy... K&N videos were a great help and the only issues was getting the twist bracket installed correctly which was not a big issue. Maybe...I should install a bigger cam... bigger injectors...a tune... and a better exhaust. Yes, I know I am too old for this kind of non-sense...but even 65 year olds need hobbies. Now I need to finish my 1970 Nova with a blown 700 horsepower 406 engine.

Nice product, chose this rather than the next one up with metal tube because the BHP gains were better on this model, came well packed and with full instructions which made it pretty easy to fit, only a couple of slight negatives 1. You had to do a small mod for the breather tube to fit properly (all covered in the instructions), not a big deal but did not expect to have to do that. 2. The other was fitting the bracket to the front cross member, fiddly and easy to drop the fittings down in behind the front valance, just needs a bit of care. Overall though very happy hence the 5 stars, looks good under the bonnet and sounds good when you light it up plus the MPG seems a tad better...bonus!

The actual product delivered looks fine until now considering that the items was procured 3 months ago. Hopefully it will last as expected.

I installed this within 2 hours, although installation a second time around would be 30-45 minutes and very simple. I could not notice any perceptible difference in performance using a stopwatch even with a performance CAI tune. HOWEVER, the engine sounds much better (louder throatier) and I 'perceive' that performance is better and throttle response is improved. Therefore I am happy with the product. I am yet to confirm if fuel economy is suffering at less than 10 degrees C.
