Good quality for the price; better than the ones that came with the trailer. No defects and easy to install. Really nice to see we can still get quality materials at a decent price. I would purchase again.I used this product to replace the cheap plastic door latch that broke on my cargo trailer. The holes lined up perfectly with the stock door catch holder and bracket. Only recently installed, so there is no telling at this point how well it will hold up to weather and other elements. But the new metal catch holder and the bracket are much better than the manufacturer’s choice of using the plastic latch.

This is a very nice latch that is very well made. I did have to bend the shaft to match the angle of my door. I was a bit disappointed that there were no mounting screws included.

Works way better then original equipment and a lot stronger. If you set it rite it will fit tight to one side and there is no rattle of latch or even the door on breezy days . 10 out of 10

I've broken my share of the plastic versions of these door holders. No more. We bought a new trailer and this is one of the first items I purchased. The cheap crap the manufacturer provided when in the trash and this replaced it. No longer worried about it breaking mid-trip.

Pretty simple setup and materials. Rough and basic materials. Didn’t even include any screws for the install.

Every RV I've even bought comes with a pathetic plastic door holder. A few years in the sun, and a little wind at the campsite means a flapping door WHEN it crumbles into dust. This steel one will NEVER fail. Not sure what the finish is, but I've never had one rust. I also replace the plastic storage door holders with metal too. High on the list of to-do when buying an RV is replacing all of those plastic door holders.
