Q: Does it fit in baby bottles?

I believe so the brush is somewhat soft so it should slip right into the bottle.

Q: What type of material is holding the bristles into the bristle head?

The part where the bristles are is hard sturdy plastic , the same as at the end of the handle . The bristles are pulled through and are staying in very sturdy . I have a set of the shorter and longer ones for a long time and absolutely love those . Using them every day and they are still in a very good shape . They fit in every water bottle that we have . I ordered another set to give to my friend and my friend loves it as much as I do . 👍

Q: Do you think it will it scratch my glass water bottle?

I think it’s soft enough to not scratch glass but I think it might over time scratch plastic

Q: Will this brush fit into the 1 1/8 inch opening of a 1/2 gallon water bottle?

Looks like it would. Bristles are dense, but they fold inward toward the stem. Should be fine.
