So this time, I decided to get the signed edition! I can’t even explain how much I love Lindsey Stirling. She’s the one who truly changed my heart and mind. I’ve never been a fan of anyone like this before — she’s such a sweet and kind-hearted human being. ♥️🎻

Mir gefällt Lindseys Schreibstil sehr, das Englisch ist aber nix für Anfänger! Ich hatte 6 Jahre englisch und teilweise mit manchen Wörtern schon Probleme. Sonst auch schöne Fotos und rundum ein gutes Buch.

A truly inspiring story of never giving up on your dreams even when no one else believes in you and overcoming difficult personal challenges and obstacles to get there. It makes you look at yourself differently and gives great motivation and the message that it is OK and possible to love yourself even if you are less than perfect.

Je l'ai dévoré ! Bien qu'il soit en anglais (mais assez facile à comprendre avec un assez bon niveau je pense) et que je n'aime pas lire. J'ai découvert Lindsey Stirling sur youtube, suite à un partage de vidéo d'une amie. J'ai d'abord découvert son univers musical et ses très beaux clips... puis j'ai regardé des interviews d'elle et m'y suis vraiment intéressée. Je n'aime pas le terme"fan" pour son côté groupie et hystérique... mais j'aime tout ce qu'elle dégage ! Et découvrir son histoire avec ses mots à travers ce livre, co ecrit par sa soeur, m'a beaucoup plu et touché. Un beau message d'espoir, drole et émouvant... à son image ! Elle y parle de son enfance heureuse, son adolescence et sa bataille contre l'anorexie, ses débuts en tant qu'artiste "danseuse violoniste" dont personne ne voulait puis sa volonté de toujours y croire, sa foi très présente et enfin l'arrivée du succès. A lire et à découvrir... pour découvrir la talentueuse Lindsey Stirling !

I got this book and got to reading it one evening - I had got through it by the morning after the next day. I was basically reading it in all of my free time, because it was just that interesting. I used to be a great reader, but have fallen out of it for several years, and nothing seems to hook me anymore, but this certainly did. One of the things I loved about it was that it was pretty much exactly what I was expecting in a lot of ways - I thought I was going to be able to feel the wonderful, sweet, quirky personality of Lindsey throughout the book, and I was absolutely right. It also confirmed what I had already assumed and hoped was true about Lindsey - that she was very grounded and human; in a lot of her experiences she has to go through things that everyone can relate to. She is not a typical celebrity with her head in the clouds, she's down here with us. Something I just loved was how clear she makes it that her friends, her crew, her family (which are obviously pretty much one and the same to her) mean more to her than anything and she appreciates them more than the words she expresses in the book can say. A wonderfully entertaining emotional rollercoaster - you will find yourself laughing and crying throughout the book, and after reading this I feel like I understand and can relate to her a lot more. I swear the emotional impact of all her music increased significantly too after reading this. If anyone has any doubts about buying this, let me just say that even to people who aren't big fans of Lindsey, I would recommend this book, so if you ARE a big fan...it's a must buy.
