I have a 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 2500 hd diesel duramax 6.6, the only issue I had was I had to use front per drilled hole instead of the rear pre drilled hole and add 12” of wire. The plunger would hit the frame of my truck frame, but moving it to the front pre drilled holes worked fine.

The lights are bright and I think they will work fine. Once I get the bugs worked out. The plunger switch is just too short to make the proper connection to turn off. When you close the hood. Also I was trying to do this late at night and in a below 30 unheated garage. Which didn’t help me much. I need the tip to extend about a 1/4 inch to work. Either raise the switch or put something on the tip of the plunger. Vinyl tube, pencil cap. Also on the light strip itself it shows where you can cut it. But nothing on adding an extension. Some instructions on theses things would be helpful for a lot of things Temu sells. Although we can figure most things out. Not all of this custom work comes easy especially for me. I have the idea. Just don’t know how to get there.

Mounted this light string on my 2025 GMC 2500HD. Had to fabricate a small bracket for the pin switch. Lights up the entire engine compartment without glare.

I installed it into my 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. It was really easy. I thought that the cable was too short, but not, it was enough to route it behind the heat shield on the hood and get to the battery connectors. Everythibg needed to install it is included, even the mini zip ties. Happy with this purchase.

Arrived on time, packing was intact, and the light itself works well. Seems durable, wire length is decent (Approx 6’). Only issues was the connections, and how they were connected. When adding the fuse/relay it’s as if the assembler forgot to add it. Then made a poor crimp at the fork, joining the fuse/relay wire. The ends have mismatch crimps. More importantly the wire from the light is 18AWG, while the fuse/relay wire is 14AWG. The light strip was folded in the box while still hot from assembling the clear lenses disfigured the middle section.I’m writing such a detailed review, only because this is the second one I ordered. The quality of the first one was flawless even the light was shipped in a long flat box, allowing it to hold its physical shape. The wire connectors were quality and matching while also not be crimped, simply put in a bag for the customer to use if needed. The fuse/relay was not an additional solution to an error like the one I just received. Instead it was all one assembly within the black wire.I have already made the necessary adjustments to mine. These lights are a terrific solution/alternative to automotive lighting. I hope these simple issues can be resolved for my future purchases or I will need to find another supplier. Thank you!

Nice little upgrade for under your hood. Lights up your engine compartment well and is an install and forget item. The hood pin works great to activate the light and shut it off when you close the hood. Draws a negligible amount of power when in use. Would definitely recommend!
