This formula works really well with my carpet cleaner, it lifts pet stains quickly and leaves the carpet smelling fresh without being too strong or perfumey. I’ve used it on old spots and new messes, and it does a good job of both removing stains and neutralizing odors. The 2X concentrated formula goes a long way, so one bottle lasts through multiple deep cleans, which makes it a good value. It doesn’t leave behind residue or make the carpet feel stiff after drying, which I appreciate. If you have pets and deal with accidents or everyday messes, this is a reliable cleaner that keeps carpets looking and smelling better.

A few months ago I ran out of a different bissell solution and had a new thing of Rug Doctor solution for pets laying around that I figured I’d use up. My puppy Sully got incredibly sick earlier this week and was throwing up all over the house during a 24 hour period (we found out the next day he had an intestinal obstruction and had to get emergency surgery to remove it). I have a carpet cleaner and used the Rug Doctor solution to try to clean the vomit up. I’ve been using that solution for a month to clean up other dog messes and it never worked well, but this was the first time I was in desperate need of cleaning power because it was 10+ spots, not just 1. Despite going over the areas many times in multiple cleaning sessions, my house still didn’t smell right. That solution did not sudz up like it should, smell much at all, or remove the actual stain fully, so it felt like I was mostly cleaning with water that had a tiny bit of soap in it. I threw out the rug doctor stuff and broke down and got same day delivery on this Bissell pet solution. I used it the same night I got it and the difference was night and day! It smells great, is appropriately sudzy, removes the stain, the carpet feels soft and fluffy again, and the bad odors are totally gone. I know I’m walking on carpet that is actually clean now and my house doesn’t smell like a sick dog. I will definitely be buying this stuff from here on out!

This cleaner is really industrial strength, it gets rid of all the little pet accidents our little doggy made. The dirt that comes out of your carpet is amazing. I never knew there was that much guck in our carpet. It made our carpet look like new. Highly recommended product.
