Review: BEST guide on what bitcoin is and how to invest in it - It's not easy finding a reliable source of information on bitcoin. Give this book a go and you won't be disappointed. The author here does a great job explaining in a very clear and easy to follow way what bitcoin is, why it's so revolutionary and where it's heading (that's really important). He debunks all the myths you might have heard from so-called "financial experts" in the media and also gives very practical advice on how to buy bitcoin in an efficient and safe way. For me, that's exactly what I needed to form my own opinion. I started taking an interest in stock markets and cryptos in March 2020 (like a lot of new investors, after the crash!) and have found Matthew Kratter's books, online courses and Youtube channel (check out "Trade University " - it's free and Matt's got a great presenting style) simply the best resource out there to learn about these topics but also develop my critical thinking. Beyond this particular book, I really recommend you check these if you're interested in taking a step further. The small caveat I would say about this book is that the tone can be quite critical at times (particularly towards institutions) which might be surprising to some readers. But in my mind this is exactly why this book is interesting as it doesn't rehash clichés. Review: Investment Opportunity of The Decade? - I have bought a number of Matt Kratter's books on investing for several years now. His books are clear, short, readable and to the point. A Beginners Guide to Bitcoin is no exception. He achieves 3 things. First he explains why Bitcoin is relevant in the current economic climate and why it is arguably a better store of wealth than gold. Secondly he explodes the myths surrounding Bitcoin such as "its a scam, its a Ponzi scheme and that its going to be banned". Thirdly and just as importantly he explains the safest way to acquire and keep Bitcoin if you are interested in investing. This is a Buy. A perfect guide
This is now the third book by Matthew Kratter that I've read, and his ability to distil these concepts right down for the layman is superb. I bought this book because, as you might have noticed, the Internet has a lot to say about Bitcoin. It takes a lot to decider what is just opinion and what is fact. Kratter, as always, brings CLARITY. Yes, he is clearly quite excited about Bitcoin, but he explains his reasoning - quite sound reasoning. He's not coming at it from the approach of a novice who happened to make millions because of a well timed Bitcoin spike, he approaches it from the perspective of an investor / trader with many years experience in the market - which he is. He's a trusted source, and I'm glad to have read this book. I feel I know far more now than I did last week prior to getting this book. It may be a short book, as many of his books are, but it's spot on. All information, no hyperbole. If you're new to Bitcoin, I highly recommend this book.

Concise but valuable information
I’ve only just dipped my toe into Bitcoin so took advantage of this book , which is currently a free Kindle download on Amazon in the UK. I have used Coinbase to buy my first partial Bitcoin . I was pleased to read that the author recommends Coinbase too . I have had a few issues with Coinbase with my account continually “ under review “ . A Google search has revealed that this is a common problem that will eventually be resolved . I found the authors writing style made it easy to absorb the information and I particularly liked that he has over 20 years experience . Optimistic read.

Matthew Kratter certainly knows his stuff and this intro to Bitcoin is ideal for anybody new to crypto. He gives a brief intro to the history of money & explains why Bitcoin is an improved version. He spends time dispelling common myths and misunderstandings about Bitcoin before stepping the reader through the process of buying and subsequently securing their new Bitcoin. He finishes with his valuable 10 commandments of crypto and some links to free follow up educational videos. Thanks Matthew for your wisdom, you have helped my family massively as we’ve entered the world of crypto and you continue to be our go to source for analysis and information.

*as it appears on TalkingPulp I first discovered Matthew R. Kratter when, on a whim, I picked up his book A Beginner's Guide to the Stock Market. After reading that, I started following his channel on YouTube and as he delved more into cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin, he became just one of two channels that I actually listen to and take their insight seriously. The other channel is Crypto Tips, for those who might be wondering. Kratter's stock market book was rather good so when he announced this one, I was pretty excited. So this is a pretty short book and in fact, I read it in a single sitting. However, for something only 60 or so pages, it is chock full of not just useful information but great information. Kratter knows Bitcoin exceptionally well and this is, hands down, the best book I've read on the subject, as it takes something that is complex and overly technical to the average person and explains it very simply and thoroughly. My favorite part of the book was the section where he answers common questions and dispels common myths and concerns. While I'm 100 percent on board with Bitcoin, there are still worries I've had, even keeping up on it for almost a decade now. Kratter put some of those real concerns at ease and this is something that I'm sure I will continue to reference, as time goes on. I enjoyed this so much and thought it was pretty close to perfect that I also got copies for friends who are interested in the crypto space but very apprehensive about it, even though they see my success with it. Frankly, this past week has exposed major flaws and deep corruption in the Wall Street system, as hedge funds have fallen to Redditors with an axe to grind. DeFi is the way of the future and the true road towards freedom. There isn't a better time than now to get on board. This book will help you get there. Rating: 9.5/10 Pairs well with: Matthew R. Kratter's other books, online courses and his YouTube channel Trader University.
