It not unusual that Villeroy & Boch products are "costly". "If" the price is what you're willing to pay. Although, for you whom already known this brand, perhaps the cost is irrelevant. The perspective of worthiness is based on your socioeconomic preferences. Cups and saucers are perfectly baked without any bubbles and were Made in Germany with backed inks on the backside. Both spoons were made "beautiful" for my personal taste and both were Made in Indonesia, not Germany. I'm a perfectionist and inspected every inch in details with blue and yellow UV lights. I paid for them so you don't have to guess the quality and made origins which did not show in product pictures. I hope you, the future buyers enjoy the products as much as I would.
