Wonder Bread Sandwich De-Cruster with Handle Slices Crust Remover Lunch Cutter

Unfortunately it did not cut the bread I was using. Maybe it does for other certain types -I read other reviews for other bread cutters and they also reported the de-crusters not working for wholewheat bread. I did like that the de-cruster fit the bread so that, had it worked, it would have only taken the crust off and not waste the portion you were looking to keep. I've only used it once and when it didn't cut through, I kept the de-cruster on the bread and used a knife to cut out the crust surrounding the de-cruster. I'm not sure if this is any easier than just using a bread knife to cut the crusts off yourself. I can't recommend this product -at least for the 100% whole wheat bread that I was using it for.

Don't waste your money. It does a lousy job of cutting. I couldn't even get the handle up so I could use the handle part. It tore the bread up and it took all my strength pushing down to get it to cut the crust off and it still wasn't cut.

Don't use as often as I thought. Doesn't cut quite as well as I had hoped.

Works great... Press down hard... you will have to work around the size of your bread and make more than 1 cut...

Absolute piece of crap. Don't bother buying. Doesn't "cut" all the way through the bread. Shame on you Wonderbread for putting out such a lousy product!!

Top portion breaks/removes every time u try cutting the bread

I have had the de-cruster for a few months. It is sturdy, as well as easy to wash. Actually, I have not tried to de-crust bread with it--I ordered it to use as a "cookie cutter" to shape cauliflower "bread" slices whenever I make Cauliflower Grilled Cheese (recipe online). It makes perfect, uniform slices!
