Very solid medium duty carabiner with a locking ring. Loving these carabiners....purple is my favorite color. The action on the hinge is solid and positive. The locking ring ensures that the carabiner won't open without permission. Although, the locking ring does need some lube or oil to function perfectly. It was just dry and didn't want to move easily....so, put some palm oil paste on the threads and it works very easily and smoothly. Like a wing nut...just a good push and the locking ring goes flying up the threads. Took a second or two to fix. These carabiners are also a great value at less than a dollar each for a locking version. And I love the look of the purple and black on my bags and ropes. Though they lock...I wouldn't trust them for climbing, FYI. Highly recommended!!!

These are handy when you have large dogs that tend to break things! I have a pair of GP X brothers that need to be chained at night to keep them on the property. They typically get over the 4' fencing without issue. The means of tying them to the property is made handy by carabiner clips. The 'chain' would break in the middle and either end. Carabiner clips help reenforce their chains (middle and ends).

These are nice, i actually didn't realize how much the locking mechanism would get in the way. It's nice because you can just unscrew them and completely remove them from the unit. I wish they were heavier, they are light, but I do like them!

Loved them!! I got them to use an alternative way and I’m very pleased with the quality of these carabiners and I love the colors.

Does what it should. I find I like the screw lock when using this with a badge reel and for my keys at work. It lets me feel confident that it will not be pulled off by the kids I work with.

I wanted some colorful carabiners to keep different sets of keys separate and secure. These work pretty well and the lock does stay in place. However the lock starts to push up into the curved part of the carabiner, so the parts feel like they're grinding. The edges of the lock are not rounded over, so key rings and other stuff tends to catch on them a bit. Overall, I am satisfied and will continue to use them, but in the future I would look for some with a lower profile lock.

When you pay $10 for 10 clips you must wonder what is wrong. Look nothing is terribly wrong, they work well, they just have a cheap feel and also the latch and opening and closing I feel will break after a few uses but we will have to see. Otherwise, It's $10 can't complain but also can't rave.
