pure&simple this CLASSIC sould be rerequired reading for schoolkids/unfortunately most will never have opportunity in most public school English classes///why? because most teachers under 40 have never read it///and were NOT exposed to it in teacher EDUCATION CLASSES in college ---probably

イギリスからの中古本を購入。 ハードカバーに直にイラストが印刷されていて、上の写真とは全く違う雰囲気でした。 初めから数ページに渡っては、ページが折れていたり、クレヨンの落書きがあったり、時には引っ掻き穴がパージにあったり。ところが、それ以降のページはまっさらの状態。 たぶん、子どもにプレゼントされた本なのでしょう。子ども方は、最初は勢い込んで読み始めてみたものの、１０ページくらいで根が尽きてしまったのかな。 そんな情景が浮かんできて、ほのぼの。これも古本の楽しみの一つですね。
