This regulator works just as described with no issues on our forced air propane heater. It connects easily. The flow control knob turns easily and adjusts appropriately. Overall, I'm happy with...and quite warm... with it.

This hose installed well, was nicely constructed, and had decent quality feel in the regulator. It just turns out that the 0-30psi gauge and regulator is absurd for a normal backyard LP grill. I don't know what most grills use but it must be about 1 psi. On first fire up I dialed it to 5psi and opened up the taps and WHOOOOSH that was a lot of flow. Dialed it back, back, back until the flames no longer lifted off the flame bar. 0.75 turns on the regulator, doesn't even register on the gauge. Now I figure that's on me, I bought the wrong product, but this is definitely not the right setup. Now I'm concerned that I'm gonna bump the regulator every time I install a new tank and I'm going to open up the taps and unleash a hellish inferno. It's just sooooo close to barely open that it doesn't seem like it's going to hold position well. Next time a regular no frills.low.prssure hose for me.
