Ruth: loss, love & legacy (The Living Room Series)

This study is excellent! We decided to try this one out for our small group and within the first day of starting I was ready to order the rest of the studies by this author. The layout is very nice and it really helps you gain more perspective on the book of Ruth. You have 5 days of work each week and the workload is about perfect. It isn't like some of the Beth Moore studies where I had over an hours worth of work some days. It gets you thinking and connecting while really helping you understand the meaning of Ruth. I am so thankful that we ended up in this study!

Just completed this study for the second time and got as much out of it this time as the first. There is so much more depth to the book of Ruth than I ever knew - even though I had heard the story since I was a child. The connections that Kelly makes to our own personal redemption story through Christ are especially meaningful. It's a great study- for new believers and more mature ones, too.

After reading through the book of Ruth, I wanted to study a bit deeper. This was perfect. It delved deeply into the book, verse by verse, and linked it to so many other stories in the Bible. I especially loved how she linked Ruth through Jesus' lineage. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a deeper study of the book of Ruth.

Just got finished this study and would do it all over again. The Book of Ruth is a powerful story that every Christian should take the time to read. Kelly Minter did a great job of providing insight, asking thought-provoking questions and overall taking you verse-by-verse through this four chapter story.

Kelly Minter really digs into the heart of this wonderful devoted woman and makes you want to love Ruth as a dear friend. She clearly admires Ruth and shares some keen insights as well as areas for life application. I love Kelly's writing style which includes some tongue-in-cheek comments that make me chuckle. I would definitely recommend this book whether for a group or personal study.

My first study by Kelly Minter, & I loved it. Ruth‘s story has been used in my life in the past. I cried through parts, was encouraged through parts & challenged through others.

I am so impressed. I am new to Bible study and this was so well put together, informative, so interesting and challenged me in wonderful ways as well as entertained at times. I bought one for my mom for Christmas. Kelly is such a talented writer and I feel is a gift to anyone looking to see so much more than just the simple story on the page. My life is more enriched by doing this study. Enjoy.

I bought this as it was recommended reading for my Bible class. It is a very easy to read book, full of little gems.
