Classics Dr. Pete Syrup, 14.9 Fluid Ounce

I used this as a flavor enhancer to my Dr Pepper cake and Buttercream it was great. The flavor really worked for my baking. It’s impossible to buy a flavor and I couldn’t find anything on the internet to replicate Dr Pepper so I decided to go Dr Pete’s a go and it worked. I added a TBLS to the cake and a half TBLS to the buttercream it worked great. I don’t know how the flavor works with the soda machines, but it worked great for an added flavoring.

Literally bought this and was skeptical at first but its actually dead on with the name brand stuff. Bought the name brand stuff and the flavors weren't there? So if your like me trying all the flavors be open minded cause its name brand doesn't mean it's gonna be good.

It's NOT dr pepper, but i still like it. As this is a review for the flavored syrup, I'll give it 4 stars because this product might help save money from buying whole cases of soda, not to mention the ingredients that i prefer greatly over dr pepper. Further, I've read some of the comments and was hesitant to buy the "new" bottle. I don't know what they're talking about. I get 7+ bottles of those 1 liter bottles out of this, and i don't, at all, have to fill up that cap. It's TOO sweet if you fill it up. Overall, I'd be very happy with this purchase if i had a cheaper way of getting CO2. Seriously, $30 a pop, plus the syrup? How is that money saving? It's not... feel free to reply to this comment if you have suggestions on cheaper CO2 acquisition methods! All the stores in my area ONLY do the exchange. Sooo not worth it.

It has less sugar but you can definitely taste the artificial sweetener. I'm not a fan and will not purchase again.

I like soda, but you know same-old same-old want to cut back on sugar. For me this was a great alternative to occasionally buying a 2 liter of soda(which would either go flat, or I'd force myself to drink it all in a couple of days to not waste it) or wasting money on smaller bottles (to try to keep consumption down, but fizziness up). I already had a Soda Stream because I was enjoying carbonated water, so I finally tried a syrup out. Took me one or two glasses to figure out how much I needed per glass, finally settled on the lower measuring line in the cap, after that it was great! I can just have a single glass of soda like once in a while and I don't feel like I'm wasting any money. I like Dr. Pepper and this taste just like it from what I can tell. Keep in mind before trying this I hadn't had a Dr. Pepper in like a month, so that may have also helped with the tast transition. Just a thought before you try and do like a side-by-side taste comparison.

Product received as described and arrived as expected via Amazon Prime. Sodastream syrup is best quality. Prime with use of Amazon Echo simplifies and makes online shopping completely convenient!

As soon as you add this to your carbonated water, it will flatten the carbonation so if you like flat tasting soda, this might be for you. If you try to add the flavor first, and then carbonate, you'll end up with a HUGE STICKY MESS to clean. As for the taste itself, it's not that great. I buy non-brand soda from the store all the time, and this is sub-par to those. It's just too sweet.

Tastes like the generics, (dr thunder, etc) which I love.

This tastes pretty much like original Dr Pepper as long as you put the right amount of syrup in your sodastream. Kids love it!

As good as you can get without drinking real Dr Pepper. My shipment was fine.
