I followed other reviewers suggestions of immediately tightening the tassel knots to keep them from coming undone and soaking the towel for 24 hrs to activate the fibers, and so far I haven't had any issues with it! It's amazing absorbent and wraps around me nicely. It's also very soft after the soaking and the gentle washing that I did to it.My one complaint is that it says the towel dries quickly, but it took over 18 hours for my towel to dry after I'd only used it in the shower. And even the other reviewers praised how amazingly fast it dried, but that was not my experience at all. Maybe if you hang it outside in the sun, it'll dry quickly? Either way, very disappointed in the "quick" drying time.But other than that, this is a very nice towel.

I love these, only ever use these now all the time! Just as absorbent and warm as a regular towel but so much thinner, lighter, and quicker to dry. Love love love!

This towel absorbs well and dries quickly. The directions say wash machine do not tumble dry. Well I thought why not. So I washed in slightly warm water and dried on low to medium heat. No issues at all.Size is good to wrap around you. Plan to use daily and for a wrap going to the pool and beach. Will be buying another soon. Also, love the glass charm.

This towel is fantastic for everyday use, beach, travel, etc! I have two. Definitely soak it for 24 or a few hours like other people have said. Ive only hang dried it. the quality is exactly the same as when I bought it. I prefer these over my normal bath towels after I shower as they are large, absorb water more quickly and leave my skin dried (as opposed to bath towels, I still feel like I need to towel off again). The colors are vibrant and beautiful. It is great travel size. The sand just shook off perfectly after laying on the beach with it. The price is great, too. Love, love, love these. I will be buying more!

Saw the flat woven Turkish cotton towel advertised somewhere at like 44 dollars each for a large beach style towel. Looked on Amazon and saw many listed cheaper and thought I'd try one.Amazing! Many reviews talk about the importance of pulling each knot tight and pre soaking in water for 24 hours. I did this and wrung it out and hung it to dry. It does dry super fast! It's not fluffy but I think the cotton is really soft. It really is incredibly absorbent. The fact that it takes up very little space and is super light is a huge bonus.Ultra light hikers should take note! This is rather large, and great for home or beach use. I've ordered some smaller ones and believe they would be a great cotton alternative to the plastic synthetic crap sold at 2x the cost or more.I've used and washed mine for a month now. I always hang it to dry since it takes very little time and I believe it will last longer. It's holding up well.Buy with confidence!!

I read a review that said you had to follow the instructions and soak your towel for 2 hours in cold water to activate the fibers. I did not get these instructions but decided it couldn't hurt. I'm not sure if this made the difference, but these towels are awesome! They are super absorbent. I bought two for my daughter to take on a trip (and I missed using them while they were gone). Not only did she like the towels, but her friends did too. I use it to dry off after the shower and after a swim in the pool. I love the size. I can wrap it around myself and it covers all. I highly recommend these towels.

I bought four of these towels for a small sailboat, mostly for the colors, the fact that they didn't look too bulky, and because I bought into the Turkish towel mystique. They look nice, time will tell about their practicality. Took off a star on this one because of the lack of an evil eye glass piece -- maybe I'm being petty?

Great towels. Great for the beach or camping. They don't take up the room a normal towel does. They dry quickly too. I did soak them over night in water as some of the other reviews suggested. I think this helps to release the fibres so they are more absorbent and soft. A great buy!

I didn’t think I would like these, bought them on a recommendation from a friend for taking to the beach and camping, and I LOVE THEM. They’re not your plush hotel towels by any means, but they’re soft and dry so fast. Love them. Will buy more.

Used these on a recent trip and they were great! Doubled as a towel or lighter blanket.
