I pressed hard but still the tortilla were thick and have to use roller to thin out again

This is the perfect tortilla press! We love making corn tortillas. Since we bought this we wouldn’t dream of buying tortillas from the store because the ones we make with this press are amazing! We cut a plastic bag & place it on the inside of the press which makes clean up a breeze.

Rolling pin works better. You’ll be in using them both anyway.

I bought this for my husband. He uses it frequently for flour tortillas and I think he will, also, use it when attempts corn tortillas. He was very excited to get this press!

It takes a bit of time to get the technique down, but this makes pretty danged good tortillas. You gotta remember to use the parchment paper, cuz it's definitely a messy endeavor if you don't, but I find this thing fun to use, and making my own corn tortillas is huge, as I have a partner who is sensitive to the devil gluten. It's a hefty unit, definitely not for storing on high shelves if you enjoy a complete skull.

Use it all the time, best thing i’ve bought for kitchen in ages. Great for tortillas but also works for lots of other flatbread recipes such as scallion pancakes. High quality and easy to use.
