Breakfast Bliss for the Outdoors!
I recently enjoyed the Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Bacon while camping, and it was a fantastic start to my day! This meal is incredibly easy to prepare—just add hot water, wait a few minutes, and you have a hearty breakfast ready to go. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and flavorful, and the bits of bacon added a nice savory touch that made it feel like a real treat. It’s perfect for those early mornings when you need something quick and satisfying before hitting the trails. I appreciate that it's gluten-free and packed with protein, making it a great option for fueling up for a day of adventure. If you’re looking for a convenient and tasty breakfast option for your camping trips, the Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Bacon is definitely a winner!

Great breakfast for any occasion
To be honest I was skeptical about spending the 10 bucks or so on these type of meals because they r pricey but I like to be prepared and like to no my family is gonna be taken care of and the way the world is these days and all the natural disasters and the uncertainty in people in power you never know what's gonna happen these ha e a 25 year shelf life and taste great a must buy for anyone who is preparing or just wants a good meal for the next camping trip i mean it's just super convenient to be honest wither way just add water shake and eat super simple

Not great, but not bad
Life as a busy single dad to a young child is hectic and unpredictable so, I have started building a little stash of shelf stable food at home. Nothing major like a doomsday prepper, but more like insurance in the case of "2wks to stop the spread" or an ice storm or (GOD forbid) job loss, etc. I also like to keep my office stocked with meals in case I get stuck at work or take lunch at my desk. Figured I'd get a few single meals to try out before having to rely on them should that time ever come. Taste isn't bad, texture is better than expected, overall not bad. Pricey, but freeze dry process ain't cheap. A few of the bites that didn't fully hydrate reminded me of the yolk of a hard boiled egg. I did have to drain some water off, probably would have been just as good or better with 6oz of water vs the 8oz in the directions. Overall better than some of the other "emergency foods" I've tried like the Apack meals

Good tasting and gluten free.
I have celiacs so finding decent tasting, gluten free emergency food is like a unicorn. Decent amount of calories and actually pretty good tasting. Not like eating fresh but more than enough taste for me. And everything goes better with bacon.

It’s alright
I tried it for the first time after a friend told me about it. Was not impressed! The gas are spongy, the “bacon” has a very strange texture and the leftover water at the bottom on the bag was NOT very appetizing! If I were starving I’d eat it with no complaints but to just eat it rather then break out the cereal in the morning, probably wouldn’t eat it again.

Great Product
Mountain House is a constant in freeze dried meals. Good cooking/rehydrating, and good taste. An enjoyable way to replace calories.
