Easy to use. Just takes a little practice.
This thing works way better than expected. I was able to shoot a lineup. To take branches and tree tops down that were a good 60 feet up. Save me tons of money where as if I had to hire a tree trimmer?

Great to get antennas high in the trees
This thing works! I was able to launch several tag lines from 40-75' with ease. Be safe and follow the instructions, this is not a toy.

Perfect for what I needed!
This thing is a lifesaver or should I say “shoulder” saver! Solid quality, easy to use, good value for the money! I had to put a rope in the crotch of a branch that was 35 feet up in a tree for a 3 band fan dipole for my HF antenna. NAILED it first try! I never would have managed it trying to throw a line by hand. On the other end of the dipole I also had to get a line up in a tree. No problem there either! If you need to put a line in a tree for an HF antenna, I highly recommend getting one of these, you eill be glad you did!!

Saves time on getting a rope in the tree.
Worked good for me after using it a few times. Very accurate as long as you pull it as far back as you can get it.

Surprise American components!
Bought both, one of the Chinese clones and this figured I would try them out see how they stacked up to my old sherryl Tree one that I've had for more years than I care to admit. Came in yesterday unpacked it looks good! Fit and finish look good. Was amazed when I noticed made in America on quite a few of the parts and the rubber tubes say made in Mexico. Does not appear to have Chinese components. Has been raining so I have not had a chance to take it out and play or go to the first job with it but looks very good

Great for Getting Wire Antennas Up High
I'd seen ads for the "Big Shot" line throwing system. It looked ideal for hanging dipole antennas high into trees when operating ham radio in the field. It is. The unit breaks down into two 4' length of fiberglass poles, so it is easy to transport. With a weighted bag, also sold by the company, and special throw line that is tightly woven and slick, you can send a supporting line high up into a tree's branches. The special throw line won't catch on rough bark like we have here in Texas. It still takes me a couple of tries to get the line over the right place, but the Big Shot lets you fire away with greater accuracy than throwing a weighted line by hand. I love it.
