Awesome reference book
A previous commenter thought that Archer and Nelson's APPLIED ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY FOR MANUAL THERAPISTS was broadly written and aimed at a high school audience. Perhaps it seems that way because the information is easily understood and engaging. But look again at the wealth of information it contains. I'm constantly surprised by the many details I didn't know. Not many writers can make technical information to be accurate and interesting, but Archer and Nelson pull it off beautifully. They also discuss relevant information from other modalities and schools of bodywork that have given me many Aha! moments. (I'm working on a certification exam in craniosacral and am finding it extremely useful as a starting place when trying to understand issues that don't make sense as presented by other authors.) I look forward to wearing this book out, and in the meantime, it is on my A list of anatomy references. As for high schoolers...if only they could be so lucky to have this as a text!

Clear, Concise, Intuitive
I used a different A & P book for years and I always felt it just wasn't quite on the mark. I adopted this book about a year ago and have been so glad I did. The writing is presented in an intuitive order and sequence. The material is clear and makes complex topics easy to grasp.I would highly recommend this book for any massage school's A & P section.

BAD KINDLE TEXT - NO PAGE NUMBERS. GRRRRR
Once again - BAD KINDLE EDITION - Although the text inside this book is valuable and well written👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, the publishing company obviously does not care about quality and ease of use - only money. 👎🏻There are only location points and no page numbers. It wastes HOURS of studying time spent in the school library referencing search terms (that might work - that is trial and error) to replace the page numbers our teachers very reasonably put in the syllabus. It is a waste of the teachers' time to figure out freaking location points for an eBook that the publishing company should have put in before Kindle Release if they were even halfway competent. LWW isnt even competent enough to have a website with a working call button on their front page, and bad formatting elsewhere.I am left with the options of wasting valuable time, or falling behind in my required reading because this process is a pain the nuisance, or reading at the school library, which is free...but the text is inconsistently available.I don't plan on purchasing another LWW text. They can fix their problem while I *hope* my school library has a copy on hand every time I need it.

Adequate, but the organization is frustrating
It's adequate for most massage exams, but you will need to go else where for "med school" depth. The index is frustrating and missing much of the contents, so it's a time consuming process trying to find that tidbit of info for a paper or to tweak a session for a client.

Really Like The Chapter Organization and Approach
The organization of the chapters help you learn and the review questions reinforce the subject matter. This book is just what I was looking for.

Very good resource
A very good text...a condensed overview of anatomy which makes it very easy to read and recap from. Definitely one to add to the collection if you're an advanced body worker.
