Finding books on Baneful or darker magick and witchcraft is not the easiest. Oh but this book.. is phenomenal. I love having this book on my witchy bookshelf. I pull it quite often. You will learn so much about which herbs are used in the Baneful sense. And this book is a nice size. I love how it is organized and so easy to read. There tinctures, ointments and incense.. powders and soaks. There is just a ton of information in here. Definitely grab this if you are looking to learn or research Baneful magick, dark witchcraft or about the poison path.

I enjoy the writing style. It is easy to understand, yet very informative. The author provides easy and safe preparation instructions. One of my new favorites.

One of the most detailed and informative books I've read. The author did plenty of research and provides you with the information and resources to everything. I recommend this book to any seeking or well versed in plants, science, medicine, poisonous history, and the magic that ties everything together. As an individual studying Pharmacy and Herbalism this was a very fun and educational read.

This book was outstanding. I learned so much about history, and botany while reading it!I can always tell a great book like this, because it is filled with bookmarks and sticky notes marking items I want to reference again.The author gives the proper admonitions against consuming dangerous plants, and explains the chemistry clearly, but still conveys his fascination with using these plants in spells and rituals.A must read for any Witch drawn to the Poison Path.

I've been waiting for this book to come out for a while! I've had the pleasure of taking Coby's classes and this book complements everything I have learned from Coby. It is worth the purchase and is very detailed and covers subjects that have not been covered in other books. I am not sure what the previous reviewer was speaking of, because I have a LOT of herbal books and I can assure you that he has covered a lot of material that I haven't seen before.This book will definitely be a favorite on my shelf!

It reads like a text book very informative and educational.I research and grow a lot of poisonous medicinal plants and this book is a must have for any herbalists or occultist library

I have bought this book thinking that I am going to read and enjoy something new about plants, about methods of use, etc. In this book there is only what others have written before. A compilation of other books under a new title. Spending money on this is not worth it.
